Ferne McCann't! TOWIE star screams in horror as terrifying zombie catches her by surprise at Alton Towers
She enjoyed a romantic Italian road trip over the summer as she fulfilled her duties as a This Morning showbiz presenter.
But Ferne McCann's most recent assignment was not quite as pleasant, as she was tasked with exploring Alton Towers with co-presenter Alison Hammond on Friday.
And unfortunately the Scarefest attraction got the better of her, as the 26-year-old reality star was caught off-guard by a terrifying zombie.

Scarefest! Ferne McCann was tasked with exploring Alton Towers with co-presenter Alison Hammond on Friday
Daring to go on the gory tour, she was joined by Alison as they walked through The Altonville Mines in hard hats with torch lights.
Layered up in cosy winter wear the unprepared duo smiled happily at the beginning of the walk.
But just moments later Ferne got the shock of her life when a 'zombie' jumped out behind her.
Calm before the storm: Unfortunately the Scarefest attraction got the better of her, as the 26-year-old reality star was caught off-guard by a terrifying zombie
Clutching onto her co-host and screaming at the top of her (almost visible) lungs, Ferne looked the picture of terror.
But the reality star quickly recovered, going on to pose happily on top of a large fake pumpkin.
On Thursday night Ferne put on a much more glamourous appearance as she attended the Elbrook Gala Dinner, in aid of the British Asian Trust, at Chak89 in Surrey.
The reality star showed off her enviable womanly curves in a figure-hugging maxi dress with a chic open shoulder.

Glamour girl: Ferne turned heads in a beautiful grey maxi dress at the Elbrook Gala Dinner, in aid of the British Asian Trust, on Thursday night
The former TOWIE star looked truly stunning at the event in her grey floor-length frock, which hugged her slender frame from top to toe.
The dress clung flatteringly to her middle, enhancing her petite waist and rounded derriere.
Remaining sophisticated, the number featured one long sleeve and one open shoulder, to flash a classy amount of her glowing, tanned skin.

Cutting diagonally across her chest, the frock was then secured by a built-in choker at her neck, adding to the look's chic style.
Keeping things muted and toned down, Ferne added a simple pair of silver strap sandals and just a delicate watch on her right wrist.
To show off the striking neckline the brunette pulled her hair into a high ponytail - scraping her crown back to fully showcase her pretty features, emphasised by her new surgically-enhanced nose.

She kept her make-up dewy and golden, before adding a light dusting of bronze eyeshadow and a heavy set of fake eyelashes to up the glamour.
Resting a hand on her hip, the reality star oozed confidence and glamour as she posed at the charity event, before heading inside to enjoy the festivities with a glass of fizz in hand.
Ferne looked impeccably glamorous at the bash - exuding the signature Essex style that she and her co-stars are so well known for.
Say cheese! She kept her make-up dewy and golden for the star-studded event, sipping on champagne as she mingled with guests
However this way of life came into question on an episode of This Morning last week, where they debated whether the definition of 'Essex girl' as 'unintelligent, promiscuous and materialistic' should be changed.
Partaking in the conversation, Ferne chipped in defensively: 'I used to be embarrassed to say I was from Essex.
'I think it's awful and wrong. I am proud that I am an Essex girl and I think the definition should be changed.'
Putting on a dazzling display at the bash in Mitcham, it comes as a surprise that Ferne has not yet found her Mr Right.

However, the TV personality went on to admit that she is not actively looking for a male companion - and that she is happy to be single and independent.
She recently explained to New magazine about dating and her search for The One: 'When you’re younger, you think you’re going to do this and that by a certain age. But I don’t feel ready to settle down.
'You’ve got to keep your options open if you’re not 100 per cent sure. Like I said, I’m all or nothing. But I’m single and keeping my options open, I’ve not found Mr Right.'
Ferne broke up with her long-time boyfriend Charlie Sims in March of last year, and has been linked to Spurs footballer Dele Alli and fellow reality star Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell since.
What a pair! Chloe Sims, 34, joined Ferne in Mitcham on Thursday night with newly slim cousin Frankie Essex, 29
