Perrie Edwards transforms into sultry supervillainess Poison Ivy as she leads the stars dressing up for Halloween

They possess some of the most noticeable faces in the world.

But for one weekend only, the biggest stars in Britain were virtually unrecognisable as they slipped into extravagant costumes in honour of Halloween on Monday.

Leading the glamorous brigade of starlets on the weekend of All Hallows' Eve was Perrie Edwards, who unleashed her naughty side with an outfit based on sultry supervillianess, Poison Ivy.

Clad in a scarlet wig, the Little Mix singer, 23, painted her peepers with glittering green eye shadow in leaf form, whilst a pair of coloured contact lenses added some oomph to her ensemble. 

Posing from behind, she donned an emerald dress with tiny spaghetti straps whilst she draped herself in a ruby red stole. 

Pouting with her glossy red lips, Perrie posed with her make-up artist, Anna Lingis, who had opted for a sexy skeleton look.

Super scary! One of the girls' friends opted to dress up as X Factor contestant Honey G, whilst Jade Thirlwall covered herself in white paint for the outing 

Also turning to the dark side for their costume inspiration was Jodie Marsh, who looked terrifying with expertly applied make-up that gave her the illusion of having just half a face. 

Ashley James looked equally as sinister, opting for a creepy clown look complete with a corset and striped tights. 

With her golden locks styled in corkscrew curls, and stunning make-up courtesy of SecretSpa, the former Made In Chelsea star ensured all eyes would be on her.

Caroline Flack went all out with her ensemble, donning a spaceman-inspired helmet and silver suit. 

Celebrating the holidays overseas, the presenter wrote: 'Halloween New York style', and reference the impracticality of her costume as she added: 'Gonna need a straw all night #atomicgirl.'

Another starlet rocking some headwear was Lottie Moss, who sheathed her golden locks in a nun's habit.

The Made In Chelsea star looked equally as chic for the occasion, donning a blood soaked Superwoman costume. 

Jacqueline Jossa unleashed her inner heroine with a Katniss Everdeen costume from The Hunger Games, showing off her slender curves in a skintight catsuit whilst accessorising with a bow and arrow.
