Their Sylvan Majesties

King Marcus and Queen Margerite Eisenwald

Unto all of AEthelmearc do Marcus and Margerite, King and Queen of the Sylvan Throne, send greetings!

What an incredible, wonderful blur the last few weeks have been. We have travelled throughout Our Kingdom and been able to reward both great and small deeds.

The biggest news is that We have Heirs! Congratulations to Their Sylvan Highnesses, Prince Timothy of Arindale and Princess Gabrielle van Nijenrode!

We would thank Count Andreas and Countess Kallista for an incredible final round of Our tournament and all the other combatants of the day for their prowess, honor, and chivalry.

Our Coronation was an unforgettable moment for Us, and We believe that We would be remiss in Our duties if We did not express strong gratitude for the many who helped and supported Us.

First and foremost, we would like to thank Earl Byron and Countess Ariella for leaving their heirs with a strong and prosperous Kingdom. Both of them travelled the Realm and supported endeavors ranging from children's activities to Arts & Sciences at a highly skilled level. They rewarded high and low, lord and lady, event staff and spectator. Not to forget; they also led a devastating army in battle in order to secure AEthelmearc from all harm.

Our thanks must also go to Our Seneschal, His Grace Christopher, as well as the Kingdom officers, who have supported and guided with words and deeds in order to make the transition towards Our reign as smooth as We have ever seen or experienced. Their Excellencies Janos and Rowena, have worked tirelessly, often for many hours and behind the scenes, to make sure that We have been surrounded at all times with Lords- and Ladies-in-waiting, the Dread Empress cared for, Us fed, Regalia secured and set-up, and endless hospitality.

Baron Jacob Dumoore and the guard kept Her Majesty well-tended while Mistress Isabeau de L'Isle made a dress for her that was full of splendor with gorgeous accessories from Lady Beatrix & Mistress Roberta. Our Signet Mistress Alex and Our Jewel Herald, Master Orlando kept our court running smoothly. All of them and anyone who dedicated a moment of their time to US deserve Our gratitude and recognition as they have ensured that We have wanted for naught.

We would like to also thank James Hyland for making over 40 silver fibula for me to give to my guards and our retainers. While His Majesty made his complete exterior outfit he would not be half as regal without an incredible smocked shirt made by Ciarrai Eaton.

We would like to add a special thank you to Duchess Christence & Baroness Ellesbeth Donofrey for running an Auction to benefit the Royal Travel fund. As We had many visitors come to see Us on Our Coronation it is a great boon to have more financial support to travel throughout Our Kingdom and the Known World. Their work and the work of those that contributed to the auction raised over $500.00. Their generosity and that of Our guests at Coronation is difficult to appreciate with a simple Thank You but that is what we have. So Thank You Your Grace & Your Excellency.

During Coronation We got to experience art, music, laughter, running children (and a squire running for his life), deeds of arms, and camaraderie.

In Our first court We got to see joy, eagerness, gratitude, somberness, and a multitude of emotions. We were served the finest lunch by Baroness Rynea von Lingen.

After that We, together with a full hall, got to experience a banquet that, to say the least, was magical. Amazing skill in the kitchen by a talented staff led by Duke Cygnus created dish after dish of pure bliss. No wonder he is known as Duke Cygnus the Blissful!

None of this would have occurred if it was not for the event staff. A great thank you and heartfelt praise goes to Event Stewards Baroness Slaine an Einigh & THL Lodthinn Vikarsson. who ran what must have been one of the smoothest events We have ever experienced. Lady Isabel and Duchess Dorinda made sure that We were very well accommodated in Royal splendor, which was incredible.

Yet the greatest Thank You, and Our warmest and deepest gratitude, is meant for you all, the populace of AEthelmearc. You are the pulse of this Kingdom, and without you the hearts blood would stop beating and the Kingdom would wither. We rule because you Believe. Thank you!

Marcus III & Margerite I
Sylvan Crown of AEthelmearc

Unto the Good Gentles of Sylvan AEthelmearc do TRH Timothy and Gabrielle send our fond greetings,

We are still overwhelmed by emotions. To have the opportunity to serve AEthelmearc again is an indescribable joy.

First and foremost, we would like to thanks all my opponents. Your chivalry on the field makes it a pleasure, your prowess makes it a challenge. We would especially like to thank Count Andreas and Countess Kallista. It is a joy being in a Finals where win or lose, you know the Kingdom will be in good hands.

Our thanks to the Autocrats and their staff, the MOLs and Marshals, the Heralds and list runners. From the smoothly run check in, to being heralded in so graciously by Baron Marcus, and then the wonderful dayboard, it was an event the Rhydderich Hael and the Kingdom should be very proud of.

Finally, our thanks to Their Royal Majesties, King Marcus and Queen Margerite. We are honored to assist You as You serve the Kingdom. We very much look forward to serving AEthelmearc and all of her citizens. It is our desire to make the dream we all share better for everyone. Please let us know how we can do that for you,

Timothy and Gabrielle
