Phaedra Parks reveals she has finalised her divorce from Apollo Nida... blindsiding him as he sits in jail

Her man may be incarcerated, but Phaedra Parks is a free woman after finalising her divorce from Apollo Nida.

On Tuesday, the Real Housewife Of Atlanta gave an interview to the TMZ web show Raq Rants, revealing her marriage has officially been dissolved.

Nida, who's about two years into an eight-year prison sentence, had to discover this bit of information from TMZ.

It's over: On Wednesday, Phaedra Parks revealed to the TMZ web show Raq Rants that she's finalised her divorce from Apollo Nida; the pair are pictured in 2013

They'd married in 2009 and have since had two sons: Ayden, who is now six years old, and the now three-year-old Dylan.

As a result, they still keep in contact 'all the time,' per Parks. 'I mean, we're parents together, so, yeah, we talk frequently.'

Yet when Raquel Harper inquired: 'Do you miss him?' the response she got was a coolly delivered: 'No.'

Harper doubled down, prodding the entertainment lawyer about whether she would consider reuniting with Nida after his release.

As the hostess pointed out, the couple have known each other for decades, it's possible he'll emerge from jail reformed, and 'You got two babies with him, so obviously, the meat was cool.'

Parks' position was: 'Never say never, but in this case, I don't think that would be a possibility. At the end of the day, we're friends, and we gonna - we have our kids together, so we'll always be friends and we'll always have a relationship.'

After pleading guilty to multiple federal fraud charges involving millions of dollars stolen from at least 50 people, according to various reports, Nida began his sentence in September 2014.

Though he was initially at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington prison in Kentucky, he was later moved to the Federal Correctional Institute, Fort Dix in New Jersey.

It was there that Parks visited him less than a year ago on an episode of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, Ayden and Dylan in tow.

Yet when Harper asked her whether she'd bring her sons on another prison trip, she replied somewhat cagily: 'I don't know what I'm gonna do, but at this point, it's not in our schedule.'

Nida has previously spent five years behind bars for racketeering, exiting on parole six months before his wedding to Parks.
