She's becoming increasingly adventurous with her sartorial choices but Princess Beatrice's latest look is one of her most fashion-forward yet.

The 28-year-old royal showcased her style credentials as she joined her fashionable friends at the Alice + Olivia x Basquiat CFDA Capsule Collection launch party in New York on Wednesday night.

The flame-haired royal looked chic in a black and white fit and flare dress, which she toughened up with an edgy leather biker jacket.

Princess Beatrice arrived at Alice + Olivia x Basquiat CFDA Capsule Collection launch party this week in New York City looking pretty edgy.

The royal who can be a bit hit and miss with her wardrobe, nailed her monochrome ensemble for the fashion event.

She didn't actually don anything from the collection, but she looked fab in a laser cut fit and flare dress and leather jacket paired with tights and calf-length boots.

The footwear really stole the show - the button and strap design and suede trim gave them a cool military vibe that paired well with her outfit.

The boots that featured a no doubt comfortable chunky heel are by French designer Isabel Marant, who is one of Fashion Finder's favorites when it comes to footwear.

The trendsetter offset her look with a pair of black and silver biker boots and wore her auburn locks loose.

The socialite, who has been putting in an appearance at plenty of showbiz events in recent months, mingled with Stacey Bendet, the CEO & Creative Director of Alice + Olivia.

Princess Beatrice has been a staunch fan of the brand for many years and often plumps for their dresses when she's attending style events in London and New York.

Her appearance on Wednesday comes after the transatlantic party girl celebrated Halloween at Heidi Klum's.

Beatrice donned Revolutionary War attire and was spotted with a mystery man at the supermodel's Halloween bash.

The Royal skipped the red carpet and arrived after midnight at the Manhattan party.

She was flanked by the man - wearing a similar black-and-silver trimmed costume - and a security guard. 

Princess Beatrice partied until 2am, when she left with the same two men.

She was seen smiling as the dark-haired companion put his arm around her. They left in the same cab.

It comes days after her former flame of 10 years, Dave Clark, was pictured in London with a new partner. 

The 28-year-old, pictured at the Queen's 90th birthday, has become something of a royal style icon in recent months
