A high school girl assaulted a male student because she didn't like his ring tone. A video posted online shows the boy sitting in a chair seemingly holding a cell phone, with a girl standing above him. The two appear to talk, before a ringtone is heard. The girl walks by him and apparently slaps the boy's hand, before returning and slapping his face, then walking away. The girl rushes back to the seated boy, and repeatedly strikes him before another girl pulls her away. The video was taken in a Pennsylvania high school.

Melanie Wilson (pictured), who worked as a volunteer at a local charity shop, was last spotted in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire at around 11.20pm on October 19. This is the shocking moment a little girl is hit by a car in Cheboksary, Russia, after the sledge she is being pulled on slides into the road and into the path of a car. She was not seriously hurt in the incident and no charges were brought against the driver of the car. Dashcam footage shows the six-year-old jumping straight back up after she is hit before she is attended to by a man, possibly her father.

This dashcam footage, filmed in Yichang, China, shows a piece of debris coming loose from a lorry and hitting a car windscreen driving behind it, smashing it apart. No one was injured in the incident and the lorry driver took full responsibility for what happened.

Cameron Ross, from Texas, wanted to plan the perfect proposal for girlfriend Kenzie Parker. He and his father painted a huge proposal sign which could be seen from 1,000ft in a light aircraft. Billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen (pictured bottom left with his wife) has continued a personal crusade of snapping up clusters of land north of the border with the purchase of the 18,000 Eriboll estate. His mission stems from a dream childhood holiday, and he now owns 218,364 acres of private land on our shores, only just bettered by the Duke Of Buccleuch's 236,000 acres. But, rather than many modern developers who aim to make huge profits with development, Povlsen is seeking to return his land to nature with a huge rewilding process that will stretch over 200 years.
