Just Cruise-ing around! Katie Holmes looks happy as she hugs daughter Suri during relaxing stroll amid Jamie Foxx split rumours

She is rumoured to have split from her 'secret' lover Jamie Foxx.

But that looked the furthest thing from smiling Katie Holmes' mind as she went for a relaxing stroll with her daughter Suri in sunny Malibu on Thursday.

She looked like she was having a great time wandering around the California celebrity enclave with the 10-year-old, whose father is her ex-husband and noted Scientologist Tom Cruise.

The 37-year-old Batman Begins favourite, who shrewdly turned down the chance to reprise her role in the acclaimed smash hit sequel The Dark Knight, looked in fine form indeed in her white blouse, jeans and casual shoes.

Suri looked as cute as a button in a trendy physical education uniform of vest, shorts and trainers.

Katie is rumoured to have been dating her ex-husband's Collateral co-star Jamie for the past three years, but it has been claimed their relationship has come to an end.

But she still has plenty of cinematic gems in the works, and will soon be seen on the big screen in the comedy Coup D'etat due out in 2017, which she will no doubt be hoping isas good as her turn in Jack And Jill alongside Adam Sandler.

Even more excitingly the actress directed and stars in coming-of-age drama All We Had, which is due to be released in US theatres on December 9.

Speaking about her work behind the camera, she said: 'I really like having creative control over projects. You put so much into it and it's a lot of work but I can't wait to do it again and again.

'I definitely have a greater appreciation for all of the work and all of the directors that I have worked with have done.'

She'll also be reprising her role of Jacqueline Kennedy in the 2017 miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot.

Katie also is an executive producer of the Reelz Channel miniseries and directed one episode.

The Kennedys: After Camelot - which, in an audacious piece of casting, also stars Matthew Perry as Ted Kennedy - is expected out in early 2017.

In bliss: She seemed in a sparkling mood as she stretched her legs
