And a new trailer for the musical La La Land surfaced on Thursday, quickly driving fans into a frenzy about the highly anticipated film.

The trailer begins with Emma Stone, 27, as aspiring actress Mia; she stands in front of a casting director as she recites some less than compelling lines.

She then finds herself at a gritty-looking bar in a flattering, plunging blue dress, where she sees Sebastian, played by Ryan Gosling, 35, playing the piano.

Unfortunately, it seems his playing is not up to snuff, as he is soon fired from the job right in front of her.

Luckily it seems it's love at first sight for the soon-to-be-couple, as they cross the bar towards each other and lock lips in a passionate embrace, apparently before even introducing one another.

Things quickly speed up as a montage shows the blossoming of their relationship as they spend time around Los Angeles.
