Martha Smit, Hillary Clinton's 25-year-old niece, is voting for Donald Trump at next week's election

Hillary Clinton's niece is an avid Donald Trump supporter who believes her 'selfish' aunt only wants to win the election to become the first female president.

Macy Smit, 25, is a hairdresser in Tampa, Florida. She is the daughter of Bill Clinton's troubled half brother Roger.

She lashed out at the Clintons on Wednesday, telling Radar Online how they had abandoned her and her mother over the years as she lay her support squarely with Republican candidate Trump.

'I support Donald Trump 100 percent. I have been a Democrat my entire life, but Trump is what we need right now - somebody who is going to stand up for us.

'I think at this point Hillary just wants it for the history books - to be the first woman president for selfish reasons,' she said.

Smit said she had always felt 'not good enough' for the rest of the family and that she and her mother hadn't received any help from them.

In 2010, when she was 18, she gave a tearful interview to Inside Edition claiming she was living off of food stamps.

Now married to a US Air Force Meterologist, she said her aunt's claim to be devoted to American families is a lie.

'They’re not as good as everyone thinks they are,' she added.

Smit, who has never met either Hillary or Bill Clinton, said she only wanted to become president 'for the history books'

She declined to comment further on Thursday afternoon from the Tampa hair salon where she works.

Smit is the daughter of Roger Clinton and Martha Spivey, a 50-year-old Tennessee woman with whom he had a brief relationship in the early 1980s.

Spivey now lives with her second husband Lonnie in Cooksville. She told DailyMail.com on Wednesday she wouldn't 'waste her gas' to vote for either candidate on November 8.

'I'm normally a democrat but I don't know if I'll even waste my gas going to vote this year.

Roger Clinton, now 60, was arrested in June for drunk driving

'Trump is war happy and I have no reason to go the other way given how they've treated Macy.'

While Bill Clinton covered the cost of her daughter's cosmetology schooling, she said Hillary had never so much as acknowledged her.

'If a child is born into a family, both sides should acknowledge it. It's a shame. She has never had contact with Macy.'

Lonnie Spivey, her husband, further slammed her father Roger who was arrested earlier this year for driving while intoxicated.

'At first I thought he was pretty good but now he's not so hot.'

Despite their family feud, Mr Spivey is leaning towards Clinton for the election because he says she has more experience.

'I haven't made up my mind but as far as Hillary goes, I'm leaning more towards her.

'Trump has never even been a mayor. He knows nothing about politics. How is he going to run a country?'

Martha Spivey (left) had a brief romance with Roger Clinton which resulted in Macy's birth in 1981. She is now married to Lonnie Spivey (above, center) who raised their daughter

Macy (left before a Trump rally in Tampa, where she lives, and right with her step-father Lonnie) said the Clintons had abandoned her and her mother

Roger and Bill Clinton were raised together and have the same mother but separate fathers. She married Roger's father, Roger Clinton Senior, when Bill was four.

Bill's biological father, William Jefferson Blythe, died before he was born. They were raised together and at 16, Bill adopted his step-father's surname.

Roger Clinton was arrested in the mid 80s for selling cocaine to an undercover police officer. The day before his older half-brother left office, he pardoned him - expunging his criminal record.

In June Roger was arrested again, however, in southern California for drunk driving. He has another child, Tyler Cassidy Clinton, from a later relationship.

Unlike Macy, who has never met either Bill or Hillary in person, Tyler joined them at the Democratic National Convention in July.
