Will Pippa be having a Whistles wedding? High street favourite of the Middleton sisters unveils bridal gowns for less than £700

She's reportedly been touring high society bridal boutiques, but if Pippa Middleton is looking for something a bit more budget-friendly for her wedding she might want to turn to an old reliable.

High street store Whistles, a favourite with both Pippa and her sister Kate, has unveiled its first bridal collection, launching in February 2017. 

The range features seven limited edition pieces in a variety of silhouettes, including one timeless jumpsuit, and all pieces cost less than £700.

For those who want to channel their inner Grecian goddess the Juliet dress features a boned bodice, a scalloped lace hem and a detacahable train.

And although it's the most expensive in the collection at £699, it's still a very reasonable price compared with the average cost of £2,000 for a wedding dress. 

The Rose dress, costing £599, is an on-trend cold shoulder style in corded lace with a raised hem at the front, a short train and bonded bodice detail.

'We are excited to launch Whistles Wedding next year. We've had so much interest from customers on wedding attire that we felt the time was right to launch a contemporary collection of dresses for the modern bride,' Creative Director Nick Passmore said.

'Wedding will offer our customer a refined collection from which they can choose something to wear for their big day; from a city wedding right through to a countryside celebration.

The dresses will be available online and at Whistles London flagship store.
