Total romantic: Tom Wilson, 28, surprised his wife Lillian Vilchez, 25, with a proposal on Tuesday night's episode of the FYI reality series Married at First Sight

Surprise! Lillian was touched by the gesture and the two shared a sweet kiss after he presented her with a diamond engagement ring

Lillian, who was clearly moved by the gesture, asked if it was the diamond ring that goes with her wedding band, but Tom insisted it was more than that.

'This is a promise to you that I am going to try to be the best husband that I can be. This is a show of commitment and trying my hardest,' he said.

Tom added that he got it a size smaller than her wedding band to make sure the other ring no longer slipped off her finger.

During their meeting with the experts, both stressed that they live very different lifestyles, and at one point Lillian made it seem like they had called it quits.

'It's been hard — marriage is not easy,' she said. 'It's not just about you — it's about the other person, and both people have to have that mentality of 'It's not just about me. It's about my spouse.'

Totally devoted: Tom stressed that the ring was a symbol of his commitment to her

Good thinking: Tom added that he got the engagement ring a size smaller than her wedding band to make sure it no longer slipped off her finger

'Tom and I have completely different lifestyles. We are very very different,' she added.

However, when she is asked if they are still together, she smiled and said that they were.

'We got a new place and we are doing great. I am very happy about with where we are today,' she explained.

When she and Tom spoke with the experts together, Lillian pointed out that they have one very important interest in common — sex.

After the show's experts ask what has changed for them as a couple now that that they are no longer being followed by cameras, Lillian says they are even more physically intimate than before.

Look of love: Lillian Vilchez revealed that she and Tom were still happily married during their reunion with the show's experts

Private time: She also gushed that they have a 'very healthy sex life' now that they are no longer being followed by cameras

Still affectionate: The two couldn't help but laugh after Lillian brought up their active sex life

'We have a very healthy sex life,' Lillian says, and while the couple awkwardly laughs about her statement, Pastor Calvin Roberson notes that it is a 'good answer'.

However, fans feared that Nick Pendergrast and Sonia Granados finally called it quits after he showed up to the reunion without his wedding ring.

'We have these like ups and downs,' Sonia told the experts. 'There's been really good moments where we just get along and where it just feels good, but it's his lack of emotion.

'I don't need him or want him to be as emotional as I am. Thankfully, he is not,' she added with a laugh.

False alarm: Fans feared that Sonia Granados, 33, and her husband Nick Pendergrast, 32, had called  it quits, but they were still very much together

Fake out: The experts noticed that Nick wasn't wearing his wedding band, but explained that he takes it off to play golf and forgot to put it back on

Happier than ever: Although they agreed they have had their fair share of ups and downs, Sonia and Nick were both glad they stayed married

Nick also stated that they have plenty of ups and downs, which sometimes make him question his decision to stay married.

'Some days it is amazing, and some days I wonder what the heck I did,' he admitted.

But what really stood out was the fact that Nick was no longer wearing his wedding ring. While Sonia's diamond band was visible, Dr. Pepper Schwartz honed in on his bare fingers.

'Nick I notice that you do not have your wedding ring on. Are you and Sonia still together?' she asked, but to her relief, he said that the were.

Cheers! The experts were so thrilled they all enjoyed a Champagne toast in celebration of their marriage

Enjoying married life: Sonia and Nick invited their parents to their new home for dinner

Keeping the spark alive: The two even shared a sweet kiss before going to bed

'I take it off when I play golf because,' he explained. 'I don't want to mess it up, and it kind of gets in the way, pinching my skin together and stuff. I always attach it to my golf bag.'

The experts were ecstatic to see Nick affectionately hold Sonia's hair during the reunion, and at the end of the meeting they shared a Champagne toast in honor of their marriage.

The two later enjoyed a dinner with his parents and her father at their new home, and both of them are confident that their marriage could last.

While Nick said he was falling in love with Sonia, she sees him being an excellent father one day.

They're back! This week's reunion also saw the return of Derek Schwartz, 35, and his former wife Heather Seidel, 32, who asked him for a divorce just two weeks into their marriage

Feel regret? 'I didn't expect to have the hurt and the sadness,' Heather tells the experts of their split

'Every day that passes by he’s showing me he’s really in it and he’s looking forward to us being together forever,' she said.

This week's reunion also saw the return of Derek Schwartz, 35, and his former wife Heather Seidel, 32, who asked him for a divorce just two weeks into their marriage.

Although it initially took Derek some time to finally take of his wedding ring and move on with his life, she may have had a more difficult time with the split.

While Derek said that he thinks about Heather from time to time, she admitted that she 'didn't expect to have the hurt and the sadness' that she felt after their brief marriage ended.
