'Yikes, maybe I did my hair upside down!' Dannii Minogue beams on the cover of a 1980s magazine during her days on Young Talent Time

She frequently posts throwback snaps on Instagram from her successful career as a child performer.

And on Friday, Dannii Minogue shared a 1988 magazine cover of herself rocking a questionable hairstyle.

The 45-year-old appeared shocked that she had ever donned the peculiar hairstyle, which she described as 'party on top, office at the back'.

Next to the flashback snap, she wrote: 'November 1988 ... This hair-do is party on top, office at the back!

'Yikes ... maybe I did my hair upside down!' she said adding the hash tags, 'MoreHair', 'SunTVExtra' and 'flashbackfriday'. 

A then 17-year-old Dannii appeared to be all smiles as she posed for the cover of the popular tabloid.

She wore her brunette locks down at the back and teased to give it height on top while donning a slick of red lipstick.

Her face appeared mostly make-up free in the adorable throwback snap which highlighted her deep blue eyes.

Dannii starred in Young Talent Time from 1982 to 1988 and Young Talent Time: The Next Generation which was launched in America.
