They are the stars of the latest film to feature Hollywood legend Warren Beatty.

So it was only appropriate Lily Collins cuddled up to Alden Ehrenreich at the Museum Of The Moving Image 30th Annual Salute event honouring the actor in New York on Wednesday.

The dynamic duo looked every inch the glamour couple as they stood on the red carpet.

Lily, daughter of legendary rocker Phil Collins, showcased her feminine form in an opulent black and grey gown which boasted a thigh high split that showcased her stunning stalks.

The 27-year-old completed her look with adventurous stacked heels, and had her hair raked back in a tight bun.

Alden, who is playing Han Solo in the forthcoming prequel film centred around the popular Star Wars character, looked dashing in a tuxedo and smart leather shoes.

However he will soon be hitting screens in the slightly less anticipated Rules Don't Apply alongside Lily and Warren.

The picture follows an unconventional love story of an aspiring actress, her determined driver, and the eccentric billionaire who they work for. Warren is playing infamous Howard Hughes in the feature.

Other big names appearing in the movie, which comes out on November 23, include Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick and Martin Sheen.

Speaking of Matthew, the bespectacled 54-year-old actor, whose career reached its zenith with 1983's War Games, took great delighting in showing off his glamorous other half Sarah Jessica Parker, who looked as good as ever in a green gown.

But all eyes were on Shampoo star Warren when he took to the red carpet with his wife of 24 years Annette Bening, who looked in fine form in a white trouser suit.
