Aspiring model Sailor Brinkley Cook posted a photo on Instagram showing off some new art to her body.

The 18-year-old posted a picture of her wrist, which read 'I decide.'

She captioned the photo with a lengthy post: 'When i wake up in the morning I decide. I decide how i want to act, I decide who i want to be, I decide who i surround myself with, I decide how i choose to look at things.

'I decide what to put my energy into... I decide my happiness and I decide my life. I've been writing this on my arm for as long as I can remember.

'May sound cheesy but it's something i'm glad i can always look down on and remember. Thank you @jonboytattoo for bringing this to life!'

The young blonde was clearly excited about the new art, as were her many fans.

Sailor is the daughter of legendary supermodel Christie and Peter Cook.

Christie’s six-year marriage to Cook imploded in 2007 after she learned of his affair with 18-year-old office clerk Diana Bianchi.

She had been married to the architect for 11 years and when news broke of his affair he tried to pay her off to keep her quiet but it failed.

Ultimately she gained sole custody of daughter Sailor. She also has a 19-year-old son Jack with ex Richard Taubmanand also a 29-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, from her second marriage to musician Billy Joel.
