Classy lady: Cindy Crawford, 50, looked as stunning as ever on Thursday night as she made a sophisticated appearance at the Jimmy Choo bash in Beverley Hills, California

The model looked simply stunning in the sophisticated coat, which fell to just above her knee.

Styled in the shape of a biker jacket, the coat featured clean cut lapels and shining silver studs as well as a long zip across the front, making the look more edgy and modern.

The frock nipped in at the waist to show off her impressively slender figure before cutting off above the knee, giving a flash of her long and lean pins.

Maintaining her impeccable style from head to toe, Cindy accessorised with a sleek black clutch bag and a pair of funky pointed heels, adorned with gold studs all over.

The beauty co-ordinated the classic look but keeping her hair in glamorous tousled waves, and her make-up light - adding just a dewy glow and a slick of mascara to show off her naturally gorgeous features and glowing complexion.

Cocking one hip out, Cindy displayed the model prowess that made her famous for all to see as she posed fiercely for the cameras.

Get a handle on a sleek clutch like Cindy's

Once upon a time a bag was an afterthought, but no more. Accessories can be the making of an outfit, an instant nod to fashion insiders that you get 'it'. And one like the black acrylic clutch Cindy Crawford carried to a recent Jimmy Choo event, is proof that regardless of physical size, these plus ones carry serious style weight.

If we're getting technical Cindy's is called a Minaudières. Her arm candy, which is aptly named the 'Sweetie', is crafted from ribbed acrylic panels and finished with a flap closure. It's designed to be held close to the body, tucked under the arm of cradled in your palm.

There's something enviably refined about the simplicity of Cindy's clutch. Unlike a glittery, jewelry box bag, this doesn't need to bring the razzle dazzle to an outfit, it's chic in its purity of form.

While Cindy's is available to buy online now, you may be tempted to shop around and see what other covetable clutches are out there. In that case, your first port of call should be our curated carousel below.

She later left the event in the same impeccable fashion -  not caught offguard in the slightest as she was greeted by photographers leaving the designer footwear outlet.

Cindy hosted the event alongside Delete Blood Cancer co-founder Katharina Harf, inviting guests to support the foundation which registers lifesaving bone marrow donors in the fight against blood cancer.

A keen supporter of the cause, it is not the first time the supermodel has organised this event - first inviting guests to the Rodeo Drive boutique back in 2014.

Guests this year included actress Skyler Samuels and model Charlotte McKinney - who posed up a storm with Cindy at the event.

Just the night before, Cindy had taken daughter Kaia, 15, to Kendall Jenner's 21st birthday party in Hollywood.

The teenager looked the spitting image of her glamorous mother as they stepped out side by side for the party - proving she has what it takes to make it in the fashion industry.

Kaia has already begun following in her mother's footsteps, as she starred on the cover of her first magazine when she was aged just 14.

And she seems to be off to a great start as she recently received the Breakthrough Model of the Year honor at The Daily Front Row's Fashion Media Awards - and attended the Maybelline party afterwards to celebrate.

The teenage model has also been named as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty - her first beauty campaign.

Her son Presley is already an up and coming male model too, just like his dad and Cindy's husband Rande Gerber.
