Royals afloat! Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands enjoy a ferry ride on Sydney Harbour as their tour of Australia continues

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands have packed a lot in to their Royal tour of Australia.
From a visit to Perth to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the landing of Dutch explorer, Dirk Hartog in Australia, to watching the Melbourne Cup in Perth, and visiting the Sydney Opera House for a concert on Wednesday evening, it's been all go since the couple arrived earlier in the week.
And on Thursday their schedule was as hectic as ever - as the Royals visited Government House in Sydney, before taking a ferry ride in the bright sunshine to Cockatoo Island in the harbour to attending a farming summit.

The 45-year-old Queen's choice of attire for the day was nothing short of impeccable, as it has been for the entirety of her state visit.

King Willem-Alexander looked smart and businesslike for the occasion, in a navy suit and neutral tie.

Queen Maxima has already shown a penchant for orange during her tour of Australia, plumping for an orange lace dress and fascinator during her trip to Canberra.
She and King Willem-Alexander are currently on a tour of Australia to commemorate 400 years since Dutch explorer Dirk Hartog landed on an island off the coast of Western Australia.
On Wednesday they visited the Australian War Memorial and Parliament House in Canberra, where they met with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife Lucy.

Later on in the day, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited the University of Sydney, where they were shown work by students and later paused for photographs outside the Great Hall.
The Royal couple also took a ferry trip to the UNESCO world-heritage-listed island in Sydney, Cockatoo Island.
As they waved to the crowd, the king tenderly placed his arm around his stunning wife's waist.
Later, he showed that even a King is not immune to the perils of hat hair as he tipped his Akubra cattleman's hat to the crowd after giving a speech.
