'Only off by a year': Michael J. Fox reminds fans Back To The Future predicted Chicago Cubs would win World Series in 2015
As it turns out, Hollywood has come extremely close to predicting when exactly the Chicago Cubs would finally win the World Series.
The baseball team made history Wednesday night by beating the Indians 8 to 7 in Game 7.
And on Thursday, Michael J. Fox, the star of The Back To The Future series, reminded everyone that his film had actually envisioned the team winning in the year 2015.

It wasn't the only show to have closely predicted the year the baseball team would win.
The final season of Parks and Recreation took place in the year 2017, and in one episode, it is casually mentioned that the Cubs had won the World Series.
'Well obviously everybody is in a really great mood now because of the Cubs winning the series,' Lucy (actress Natalie Morales) says as she and her co-stars walk by Wrigley Field.

The Cubs won their first championship in 1908, becoming the first team to rally from a 3-1 deficit by winning Games 6 and 7 on the road since the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1979.
On Wednesday night, Ben Zobrist doubled in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning, and Miguel Montero added an RBI single to make it 8-6. Rajai Davis singled home a run in the bottom half off Carl Edwards Jr. before Martinez grounded out against Montgomery to end it.
The game included a 17-minute rain delay before the 10th inning.
