Vanessa soon succumbed to the autumnal chill and threw on a chunky turtleneck jumper, along with a thick grey coat, as she headed for a coffee break.

The actress - who is in a long-term relationship with actor Austin Butler - will next play Emily Locke in the DC Comics superhero sitcom Powerless, which premieres January 2 on NBC.

The show is set in the DC Comics Universe and sees Vanessa star as an insurance claims adjuster who must deal with being a normal person in a world of superheroes and villains.
