'I have morals and self respect': Fitness model reveals she WON'T post sexy selfies because she's tired of being trolled... as she poses in a sports bra to promote a 'healthy' image

Whether your Instagram feed is filled with celebrity photos or fitness bloggers' snaps, most profiles have one thing in common - selfies.

But one high-profile fitness blogger has spoken out about the fact that she won't be posting any 'sexy selfies', because she is tired of being targeted by online trolls.

'I still get tired of seeing comments like "that's not sexy" or "you've got no boobs" on my images,' Zoe Daly, 32, from Sydney, posted to her combined 1.2 million social media followers. 

'You know what? I'm not trying to look "sexy"!,' the exasperated 32-year-old wrote.

Ms Daly continued to say that the commenters are 'clearly expecting me to take loads of selfies in G-strings (#gluteprogress) or with cleavage showing/just nipples covered [sic]'.

 If being "sexy" was my aim, it would not be hard to achieve. But it's not!

She lamented the fact that it has become the norm for fitness bloggers to wear skimpy clothing in order to try and look sexy.

'If being "sexy" was my aim, it would not be hard to achieve. But it's not! I'm a FITNESS MODEL,' the popular Instagram personality wrote on Facebook.

'I live and breath the healthy, fit lifestyle. I also have morals and self respect, so I only post images related to my lifestyle- aka health & fitness,' she wrote.

Intentions: Ms Daly told her followers that she is not in fact trying to look sexy - and instead merely wants to promote an image of health and fitness

Since Ms Daly posted her lengthy update on Facebook on Tuesday, it has resonated with more than 40,000 people around the world.

'This is exactly what makes you successful Zoe, respect to yourself and the industry,' someone wrote underneath the post.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Ms Daly said that she was glad to have spread her health and fitness message on such a public platform, because 'the pornification of our culture in general has really gone too far'.
