But Daisy Lowe put her ballroom woes to one side as she stepped out for an evening of indulgence in a plunging navy velvet floor-grazing gown that featured a daring thigh-high slit on Thursday.
The 27-year-old slipped into the leg flashing ensemble that was sure to parade her perfectly honed pins as she attended not one but two events in London - the Vinyl Factory New Look x Stylist/Shortlist party and her pal Pixie Geldof's album launch.

The fashion darling was characteristically sultry in the on-trend dress which accentuated her hourglass curves and impressive cleavage.
Daisy's choice of navy blue offset her pristine alabaster skin while exhibiting her delicate decolletage.
Bringing a seventies siren edge to her attire, the Londoner wrapped a black shaggy trimmed coat around her enviable frame, looking reminiscent of Studio 54 days.
Completing her saucy ensemble, the statuesque beauty adorned her feet with a pair of lace-up ankle boots, and carried a coordinating clutch bag in one hand.

The pin-up let her raven locks loose in a straight style as she allowed her trademark fringe to frame her delicate facial features.
Keeping her make-up to a minimum, Daisy contoured her features with a dusting of highlighter as she applied a rose blush across her cheeks.
Daisy's beaming appearance comes after Strictly pro Janette Manrara believes the reason lies in her lack of established fanbase.

The sultry star has landed in the bottom two on Strictly Come Dancing for the last two weeks, and the professional dancer believes that people 'don't really know' her.
'I think people don't really know Daisy,' Janette told Digital Spy this week. 'The Strictly fanbase is such a different fanbase from what Daisy normally does.
'I'm hoping after two dance-offs, people will get to know her. I think she's an incredible dancer and she shouldn't leave the competition. She's one of the strongest.'

Janette's fiancé is Strictly co-star Aljaž Škorjanec, who is also Daisy's dance partner this series, and she admitted she finds it 'surprising' that the pair have fallen in the bottom two twice.
The duo won the dance-off against Anastacia and Brendan Cole on Sunday's show, making it the second near-miss on the trot for Daisy and Aljaž.
Head judge Len Goodman gave his own theories on why Daisy has been so unlucky over the past two weeks in an interview on Monday.

Appearing on Chris Evans' Radio 2 breakfast show, he said: 'I can only imagine - because she's a terrific dancer, she's got a lovely personality and she's such a charming, lovely person.
'The only thing I can think of is that people, when they vote, may see Daisy - she's there, she's in fourth place, she's in a good position, they may think "well, she's safe".
'And then they vote for somebody, you know, down the line who they hope will come back and poor Daisy gets overlooked.

Gal pals: Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe doubled the support at friend Pixie Geldof's album launch, held at The London EDITION on Thursday evening
Going to her second event of the night, Daisy was joined by pal Alexa Chung at their friend Pixie Geldof's album launch for I'm Yours at The London EDITION.
Cutting the November chill, Alexa was all wrapped up on arrival, sporting a seriously chic fluffy coat.
Once inside, the style maven exhibited her slender frame in a polka dot dress which featured billowing sheer sleeves.
Covering her honed pins in a pair of season appropriate black tights, Alexa completed her look with a red patent leather shoe.

Earlier this year, Pixie shared an insight into the album, proving that some of the songs were poignant tributes to her late sister Peaches.
Showcasing her impressive musical ability in song Twin Things, she sings: 'Wish I’d known you like my own skin, so I could feel the hurt you were in. Wish we had that twin thing.'
Speaking about the inspiration behind the new album, Pixie is quoted by OK! magazine as saying: 'I'm Yours represents every single human I've ever loved in my life.
'Songs of love in every form, platonically, family, in romance. I'm a part of these people's lives and I'm theirs in any capacity they need me.'
Rocking out: Their pal Pixie was launching her album in London that night
Feeling it: She threw herself into the music, feeling it through her fingertips
Emotional: It seemed like some of the tracks would be emotional ones
Opening up about the loss of her older sister, she said: 'You wake up and you are smacked with it every day for the rest of your life.'
Peaches tragically died of a heroin overdose in April 2014, aged just 25.
Pixie isn't the first person to pay tribute to Peaches in song, as her widower Thomas Cohen has written a number of tracks inspired by the mother of his two children, Astala, four, and Phaedra, three.
'You couldn't make it through. Time to say goodbye. Holding onto each other and sing to one another. Everyone knows the house feels so cold. Just to say goodbye,' he sings in Bloom Forever.
Proud dad: Bob Geldof was there to support his daughter
All smiles: He looked particularly proud of the youngster
Another of his songs includes the lyrics: 'Sleeping alone, it's hard to go on in our country home, where we belong. Sing to me one last time.'
Thomas shared a short-lived relationship with Pixie's pal Daisy, earlier this year, but it doesn't seem to have done anything to harm her relationship with Pixie.
And while Daisy ex-boyfriend was nowhere to be seen on the night, her dad Bob Geldof was there for support, as well as newly-married sister Fifi.
On the night, she seemed in great spirits as she prepared for her night on the town, no doubt hoping to take her mind off the stress of the weekend.
All friends here: Pixie's DJ pal Nick was there (left) as well as Bob's partner Jeanne
Happy families: Newly-married Fifi Geldof was also showing her supportive side
By her side: It's well-known that some of the songs on the album serve as a poignant tribute to the late Peaches
Time for bed: Even Pixie needed to head home rather suddenly
Celebrations: She carried a bouquet of flowers from the venue
