'I want all of you, forever!' Ryan Reynolds and Conan O’Brien recreate passionate kiss in the rain from The Notebook

He's known for showcasing his irreverent sense of humour. 

And Ryan Reynolds, 40, poked fun at one of the most romantic films of all time. 

He recreated the poster for The Notebook, with chat show host Conan O'Brien, on Wednesday.

The actor shared the parody on his Instagram account, captioned: 'If you're a bird, I'm a bird. #ConanNYC'. 

Ryan is seen in the role of his namesake, Ryan Gosling, while Conan takes Rachel McAdams' position in a blue shirt and clutching his face in the rain. 

He also teased their skit, posting a picture taken in the backlot in their outfits.

He captioned the snap: 'Tune into #Conan tonight on TBS. Find out why the hell he's wearing this dress and why I can never go home again.'

The Deadpool actor was sporting a beard and carrying a bottle of water and piece of paper. 

While Conan, 53, got the raw end of the deal - sporting a blue dress and pearl necklace.

The chat show host also told his Twitter followers: 'I kissed Ryan Reynolds deeply in "The Notebook 2"'. 

The original 2004 movie swept the board at the Teen Choice Awards and has remained a favourite tearjerker for teens. 

It also launched the careers of Gosling and McAdams. 

Reynolds welcomed his second child with wife of four years, Blake Lively, in September.
