The Clinton Foundation set up meetings with Bill Clinton in exchange for donor money, a leaked memo has revealed.
Joe Klani, founder of medical tech company Masimo, and Alex Karp, CEO of software company Palantir Technologies, paid $140,000 and $100,000 respectively to the foundation for a face-to-face with the former president, leaked documents from Clinton campaign chief John Podesta reveal.
Their contributions were listed in a batch of documents. Alongside their donation, it stated that a 'meeting with WJC' - William Jefferson Clinton - was the 'Reason for Gift,' the Daily Caller reported.

Arrangement: The Clinton Foundation apparently arranged a meeting between Bill Clinton and two entrepreneur donors in 2012, a memo leaked by WikiLeaks shows
Donors: Joe Klani (left), of medical tech company Massimo paid $140,000; Alex Karp (right) of data company Palantir paid $100,000. Both wanted a meeting with Clinton
Meetings: Both men had 'Meeting with WJC' - William Jefferson Clinton - listed as their 'Reason for Gift.' The memo was in an email from now-Clinton campaign chair John Podesta
Whether those meetings went ahead isn't clear, but both Kiani and Karp have had close and fruitful relationships with Clinton since that date.
The memo was in a batch of 14 documents on WikiLeaks that were originally sent from the foundation's chief financial officer, Andrew M Kessel, to Podesta and a number of others in July 2012.
They were part of the binder for a Clinton Foundation board meeting. Podesta was working for the foundation at the time.
Headed '2012 Donors: $100K+' the memo lists 91 different people and groups who have contributed between $100,000 and $4,227,196. New donors are highlighted in blue - Karp and Kiani among them.
Karp is best known for co-founding software company Palantir Technologies with Trump-supporting venture capitalist Peter Thiel.
Palantir now provides data analysis services for the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initative's projects.
Kiani's relationship with Clinton has remained close since his apparent 2012 meeting.
As well as founding Masimo, which creates noninvasive devices for monitoring patients, Kiani also founded the Patient Safety Movement Foundation, which he announced at a Clinton Global Initiative.
That foundation paid Bill Clinton a total of $630,000 to speak at its first two conferences in 2013 and 2014, Med City News reported.
Clinton waived the fee in 2015 and this year.
Relationships: Both men kept their relationships with the Clintons going. Palantir now provides tech for the Clinton Foundation, and Bill has spoken at Klani's conferences (pictured, 2016)
