Married! Olympic soccer star Carli Lloyd ties the knot with long-time love Brian Hollins on the beach in Mexico

Superstar soccer player Carli Lloyd married high school sweetheart, Brian Hollins, in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, on Friday.

The two-time gold medalist and the pro-golfer exchanged their vows on the beach along the Mayan Riviera in front of 75 close friends and family, she dished to The Knot.

The 34-year-old New Jersey native looked gorgeous in a strapless gown from Matthew Christopher's fall 2016 collection, according to the website.

Two become one: Soccer star Carli Lloyd and Brian Hollins, pictured at Glamour's Women Of The Year Awards in New York last November, married on a beach in Mexico on Friday

The day before the ceremony, Carli shared an Instagram photo of herself kissing Brian that she captioned, '#HeadOverHollins,' with a bride, ring and beach emojis.

And the bride didn't miss out on her exercise, posting a shot of herself, captioned: 'I may not be preparing for a game but it still doesn't stop me from getting a run in on the morning of my wedding #HeadOverHollins.'

Brian proposed to the 2015 FIFA Women's Player of the Year in January 2013 after dating for 15 years.

He surprised Carli with an engagement ring that featured a cushion-cut diamond set on a triple-shank, diamond band.

Locking lips: The day before the ceremony, the 34-year-old shared an Instagram photo of herself kissing Brian, captioned, '#HeadOverHollins,' with a bride, ring and beach emojis.

They decided to delay their nuptials until after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she played with the US Women's National Team, which was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Before heading to Rio, Carli told Us Weekly that she had planned her wedding during the downtime she had as a result of a ligament strain.

'I'm getting things done!' she explained in June. 'Things are coming together nicely and once I get back into playing, I'll have my maid of honor and bridesmaids probably take over a lot from there.'

Keeping up her fitness routine: 'I may not be preparing for a game but it still doesn't stop me from getting a run in on the morning of my wedding #HeadOverHollins.'

The FIFA Women's World Cup champion told The Knot last year that she wanted a small, intimate destination wedding, and revealed that she planned to be a 'low-key bride.'

'I'm not really that difficult,' Carli told the site in November.

'I just want to have a good time with everybody. I just want to have a good night. I want my hair and makeup to look great [and] my dress to be beautiful. But other than that, I'm not too particular.'

On the ball: Carli helped the US national team beat Switzerland 4-0 in an international friendly match at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, on October 19
