Reddy to go! Nicole Scherzinger opted for a bold new look and a fresh new hairstyle as she debuted scarlet dip-dyed locks during X Factor rehearsals on Friday

Wearing her freshly dyed locks in bunches, the 38-year-old singer's glossy tresses retained their raven roots but transitioned into fiery red locks.

In keeping with her rock chick hairdo, the Right There hitmaker donned a tiny leather skirt and chunky black boots as she paraded her lean pins around the stage.

Accessorising with a myriad of colourful bangles, she finished off the look with a slick of deep purple lipstick on her plump pout.

Go hell for leather in Nicole's All Saints skirt

Nicole Scherzinger was looking her usual fashion-forward self at the X Factor rehearsals. She may not have been glammed up to the nines and in her usual judge's seat but the singer still looked super stylish.

From her vertiginous platform boots, to her denim jacket and zip detail leather skirt by All Saints, Nicole's look also had a cool 90s vibe to it that is bang on trend for the season.

90s fashion never truly leaves the trend spotlight so having a few staple pieces from the era in your collection is a savvy style move.

Click right to get Nicole's exact All Saints skirt and then team with a denim jacket and platform boots to emulate Nicole's grungy vibes - it's the perfect off-duty attire for Autumn/Winter too.

Enjoying the show: Nicole's eyes were glued to the stage as she watched her acts run through their performances

The coach with the most: Nicole joined Brian on stage with Ryan, who will be performing The Beatles' hit Twist & Shout on Saturday night

Deep in conversation: Brian and Nicole took a time out to refine Ryan Lawrie's performance, suggesting tweaks here and there

Gasp! Matt and Nicole looked to be sharing some shocking gossip on a break between rehearsals

Nicole seemed in great spirits on the day as she chatted with Matt and her other remaining act, Ryan Lawrie.

The trio were in deep conversation with the show's choreographer, Brian Friedman as they discussed the best routines for the boys' performances.

Nicole had previously mentored Freddy Parker also, but the aspiring singer was eliminated in Week Two after the votes were taken to deadlock.

No-one is safe: With the votes in the hands of the public, elimination is a possibility for everyone on the show, as Gifty found out last week

Into the groove: Nicole was clearly in the mood to dance having listened to Matt's rendition of I'm Your Man

High five: Nicole seemed confident that Matt has got it in the bag for yet another week - but anything can happen on The X Factor

Up close and personal: Brian was sure to whisper his ideas into Nicole's ear while her boys rehearsed their songs

Chit chat: Brian and Nicole were seen discussing Matt's rendition of the Wham! classic

Hugging it out: Matt and Nicole have grown close as the competition has moved on over the weeks

Brian then coached Ryan through the seemingly energetic routine that he will be performing, surrounded by a clan of excitable female dancers - who appeared to be mimicking the loyal fans of The Beatles who would essentially fall at their feet.

Ryan's time on the show has often found him at the lower end of the viewers voting spectrum, facing the bottom two previously and often being saved by the last minute app vote that has been introduced this series.

Meanwhile, Ryan's fellow contestant from Nicole's category Matt Terry took to the stage to rehearse his version of Wham!'s hit I’m Your Man.

Unlike many of his fellow contestants, Matt's X Factor journey has, thus far, been unscathed.

Guiding light: Nicole has been on hand to guide Matt through his past few weeks of consistently successful performances
