Kate Mara heads to ballet class in Fantastic Four T-shirt... one year after starring in critically panned reboot

She starred in the infamously dismal Fantastic Four reboot last year.

But it seems that Kate Mara still harbours a soft spot for the band of comic book superheroes, as she wore a shirt emblazoned with one of the franchise's characters for her ballet fitness class on Friday.

Black sneakers rounded out the athletic outfit.

Accessories included vintage-style shades, a small black leather purse with a long strap and a distinctive wood-pattern water bottle.

She also appeared to have a long sleeve shirt tied around her waist in case things got chilly.

Her blonde tresses were parted in the middle and pulled back into a bun for the workout.

A slick of light pink lipstick adorned an otherwise seemingly makeup free visage.

One would think Kate would simply want to forget anything referencing the troubled Fantastic Four franchise after last year's massive bomb of a movie, in which she starred as Sue Storm.

The film was an epic failure, garnering a Rotten Tomatoes rating of nine percent.

Financially, the movie allegedly more or less broke even, grossing approximately $167 million worldwide against an estimated $120 million dollar budget, though it obviously came in far below expectations.
