Dancing duo: Greg Rutherford, 29, found a way to add some cheer to his pressure-filled days as he brought adorable son Milo to rehearsals with him

Hearing Natalie's concerns that he might suffer with motion sickness as their dance had so many spins, the gold medallist suggested they bring in 'an expert when it comes to dizziness,' as he introduced his cute son.

Twirling around together and spinning his son in the air, the toddler giggled with glee as Natalie watched on laughing.

He explained: 'My little boy Milo loves spinning and getting dizzy more than anyone else.'

He added: 'We have so much fun throwing each other around and doing these spins, so I thought he's got to be perfect!

'I'm going to take some of his energy and put it into my waltz.'

Lackluster: Despite Greg's best efforts and his dancing practise with son Milo, his waltz with professional partner Natalie Lowe failed to have much impact on the leaderboard

Will it be enough? Whilst the judges were full of praise for the performance, a modest score of 32 saw the pair sit at joint second to last on the leaderboard

However, Greg and Milo certainly won over the viewers at home, with one fan commenting: 'Greg & his little boy on #Strictly just melted my heart,' whilst another added: '#Strictly Greg's little boy is so cute!'

One viewer questioned: 'OMG how ADORABLE is Greg's little boy? #strictly' as another gushed: 'Greg and his son dancing together is too cute. #Strictly.'

Not as good: Whilst Greg and Natalie's waltz may not have been up to scratch the star certainly melted a few hearts by showing off his son before taking to the floor
