'I'm blushing super hard under the mask': Will Arnett shines in new Lego Batman Movie trailer... as Zach Galifianakis makes debut as the Joker

The first Lego movie charmed critics and audiences alike, and delivered almost half a billion dollars in box office back in 2014.

And the latest trailer for The Lego Batman Movie seems to confirm that the spin off film will also be a hit.

Will Arnett, 46, will be reprising his role as the minifigure version of the comic book hero, and will be joined by Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Cera as Robin and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker.

Action! The latest trailer for The Lego Batman Movie seems to confirm that the spin off film will also be a hit

A news program opens the first scene, with a commentator exclaiming 'it must be great to be Batman' against a backdrop of a large celebration for the super hero.

The Dark Knight, who claims he is 'blushing super hard under the mask,' is surrounded by adoring fans and receives adulation from the crowd.

However, all is not as it seems for the Bat, as he returns home to an empty, cavernous Batcave.

A montage then shows how a very lonely justice-seeker spends his time, including swimming and attempting to watch a movie in an otherwise empty home theater.

Not so happy? However, all is not as it seems for the Bat, as he returns home to an empty, cavernous Batcave

One is the loneliest number: A montage then shows how a very lonely justice-seeker spends his time, including swimming and attempting to watch a movie in an otherwise empty home theater

He is then confronted by Alfred, played by Fiennes, who informs him that to find more meaning in his life, Batman must raise the young orphan he adopted.

Batman apparently begrudgingly agrees, and then shows the boy the Batcave along with all of his over-the-top crime-fighting hardware.

The young man then stumbles upon a costume picker, where he dons the familiar colours of Batman's young sidekick Robin, though notably without a pair of pants.

Big reveal! In the next scene, the Joker finally speaks, and starts to spar with his enemy Batman, though the Caped Crusader is loathe to admit the Joker is actually his main enemy, citing Superman instead

In the next scene, the Joker finally speaks, and starts to spar with his enemy Batman, though the Caped Crusader is loathe to admit the Joker is actually his main enemy, citing Superman instead.

This elicits tears from the villain, as Batman informs him that he likes to 'fight around,' which is no doubt an allusion to the notion of 'sleeping around.'

Finally, Barbara Gordon, voiced by Rosario Dawson, makes an appearance as well, and proclaims the the police would like to team up with Batman, which receives a very tepid response from Bruce Wayne, who happens to be at the press conference.

The trailer wraps up with several impressive battle scenes, and a group shot of Batman, Barbara Gordon, Robin and Alfred on their way to save the city together.

The Lego Batman Movie is slated for a February 2017 release.
