Bryce Dallas Howard cuts a slim figure in sheer black dress at Hollywood Film Awards... after revealing she gained 30lbs for her latest role

She recently revealed that she still has some weight to lose after gaining 30lbs for her role in Black Mirror.

But Bryce Dallas Howard looked in fine form on Sunday as she showed off her slimline figure at the Hollywood Film Awards.

The 35-year-old - who has previously confessed that designers often don't want to dress her US size six frame - went for an unusual black frock.

Bryce's dress had cut-out shoulders and sheer leopard print panels across the chest, stomach and legs.

The Jurassic World star left her legs on show and added a simple pair of black pumps, sweeping her flame red hair into a wavy ponytail.

Bryce, who has two children with husband Seth Gabel, finished off her look for the evening with shimmering eye shadow and cherry red lipstick.

The daughter of Ron Howard was there to collect the Hollywood Ensemble Award for her upcoming movie Gold.

Bryce's castmate Matthew McConaughey was also there for the honour, and posed with his wife Camila Alves and his How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days co-star Kate Hudson.

Gold is a drama about an unlikely pair who go searching for gold in the Indonesian jungle, and is due for release on December 25. 

Last month, the redhead told Marie Claire that she gained 30lbs to play a woman obsessed with body image and social media in an episode of Netflix sci-fi drama Black Mirror.

'I actually gained 30 pounds and I haven't lost all of it yet,' the actress said, adding that she wasn't sure how obvious her weight gain had been.'

'I haven't been like, "I gained 30 pounds!"' she added. 'Because I don't know if people can tell the difference.' 

As well as her roles in Gold and Black Mirror, Bryce recently appeared in Pete's Dragon and will soon start work on a sequel to 2015's Jurassic World.

The first film, which also starred Chris Pratt, was a huge success and grossed a worldwide total of $1.67billion at the box office.
