And Sharon Stone proved she can make just about any outfit shine as she made her way through LAX airport on Friday.

The 58-year-old Basic Instinct actress kept things comparatively simple for her trip.

She layered a striking white and black striped top under a long wool sweater with large brown wooden buttons.

A pair of tight black trousers showed off the sometime model's still enviably lithe legs, while she finished off the outfit with a pair of shiny black leather boots.

Accessories included a large black alligator skin tote and a heather grey fedora.

The film stars Stone opposite Ellen Burstyn, who plays her excessively involved mother.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Stone character will wind up falling for a suave lawyer played by Tony Goldwyn.

Other cast members include Famke Janssen, Caitlin Fitzgerald and, in a small role, none other than Ryan Lochte.
