She will soon be stripping to her underwear and storming the catwalk while returning to the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

And on Friday, former Angel Karlie Kloss gave the West Village a preview of her taut tummy as she stepped out in New York City.

The 24-year-old supermodel looked runway ready as she flaunted her rock hard abs in a black crop top and a pair of denim pants which rested below her belly button.

Karlie flashed her trim midsection in a black turtleneck crop top and kept warm in the fall afternoon with an olive green trench coat for a top layer.

The Chicago-native teamed the layered look with a pair of trendy two-toned jeans.

The six-foot-two stunner added some extra height to her stature with a pair of grey suede patchwork boots.

Karlie hid behind a dark pair of chic sunglasses and pulled her long tresses back into a sleek bun.

Off-duty fashion model is the aesthetic we dream of and Karlie Kloss has just reminded us exactly why that's the case.

Taking a stroll through New York, Karlie was photographed wearing two-tone jeans (a favourite of Kendall and co), a crop top (those abs, though!), a trench coat and a pair of Anya Hindmarch 'Arcade' suede boots.

Meanwhile, Karlie, who was a regular in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since 2011 eventually became an official 'Angel' in 2013, only to leave the lingerie brand in 2015.

This year's show will mark her return to the VS runway for the first time since 2014.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which normally takes place in New York City - excluding the London show in 2014 - will happen in Paris this year.

The 2016 show will tape on November 30 at the Grand Palais, but won't air on CBS until December 5.
