Picture perfect! Hailee Steinfeld flashes her bra in lace top as Jessica Chastain sports classic LBD for The Contenders event portraits

They're obviously comfortable in front of a camera.

So it's no surprise that both Hailee Steinfeld and Jessica Chastain's portraits at The Contenders event in West Hollywood on Saturday looked fantastic.

Hailee, 19, turned heads in an ivory-coloured floral top, which featured a small black bow detail at the throat, and was sheer enough to reveal her nude bra underneath.

All smiles: Jessica Chastain, 39, also made an appearance, and looked happy in a black sleeveless dress with small cutouts right below the neck

On the bottom she wore a matching thigh-skimming skirt. 

The True Grit starlet's brunette tresses were parted on the left, and then thrown over her left shoulder, where she caressed a few strands for the camera.

Some light blush complemented the beauty's porcelain skin perfectly, as did some stark eye make-up and deep maroon lipstick.

She was on hand to discuss her role in The Edge of Seventeen, a new take on the classic high school coming-of-age genre.

A slick of crimson lipstick and natural-looking make-up ensured the long-time actress was ready for her close up.

She was soon joined by Miss Sloane director John Madden for a more candid shot.
