Adele set to 'tie the knot with long-term boyfriend Simon Konecki in intimate Christmas wedding in Los Angeles'

She's rumoured to have become secretly engaged to her boyfriend Simon Konecki last month.

And it has been reported that Adele will marry her partner of five years in a Christmas wedding in Los Angeles.

The Hello hitmaker, 28, is said to be planning a private ceremony with the charity boss, 42, during the school holidays so his nine-year-old daughter can attend.

The couple, who have a four-year-old son Angelo, are said to be working to get Simon's daughter from a previous marriage included in the wedding.

A friend told The Mirror: 'The plan is to marry in LA. The wedding will be in one of the school holidays so Simon's daughter can attend. 

'It's looking like it will be Christmas, but they want to keep details under wraps.'

The insider added: 'Adele is not even wearing her engagement ring. They’re a private couple and only want their nearest and dearest there.'

Adele and Simon, the chief of charity Drop4Drop, were first introduced by Ed Sheeran and have recently moved into a £6million mansion in Beverly Hills.

The Someone Like You singer was recently surprised by Simon with an incredibly   romantic gesture to celebrate their fifth anniversary at her concert in Nashville, Tennessee.

In October, Simon penned heartfelt messages on thousands of pieces of confetti that fell from the ceiling at the end of her show.

The confetti that showers the audience at the end of each show is normally white and boast a song lyric on each piece of paper. 

Simon switched things up by including special pink notes with messages including, 'I love you', 'You are an angel' and 'Happy anniversary'.

During her rendition of Rolling in the Deep, Adele interrupted her set to exclaim, 'We've got pink confetti tonight!'.

The sweet gesture comes after Adele said  she plans to be a mother again when it all comes to an end.

According to The Mirror, the singer told the audience at her Nashville gig on Saturday that she wants a brother or sister for her son, Angelo, three, whom she shares with her long-term partner Simon Konecki. 

In between performing her hit songs, she said: 'My son is about to turn four very, very soon.

'I'm starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn four, they're not really your actual baby anymore.

'So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It's like, 'Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby'. I'm not pregnant. I won't get pregnant until the end of the tour.'

It was only back in July that she claimed she could not see herself becoming a mother again anytime soon. 

She told a packed crowd in Minnesota: 'I don't think I can have another child. I mean, I can. But I don't think I want two.' 

 In between performing her hit songs, she said: 'My son [Angelo] is about to turn four very, very soon So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It's like, 'Baby, baby, baby''

Adele is due to finish her 107 date world tour in November.

And after taking her music global, it's believed she will be taking a ten-year hiatus from touring in order to spend time with her son.

The Sun previously reports that the Hello hitmaker has made the decision in light of the fact her three-year-old son with Simon will start school next year and will be unable to join her on the road - but she is said to be considering a Las Vegas residency. 

A source told the newspaper: 'Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life.

They added: 'A regular Vegas show appeals to her because it is in one place and she would be able to maintain a normal life, but it won't happen for a number of years.' 

Earlier this year, Adele spoke about motherhood to Graham Norton and said:'It's changed me completely, in every single way possible and something much bigger than myself happened, and I had been craving that without realising.

'I was always yearning for something and I never knew what it was.'

This year, Adele was named Britain's richest ever female musician - but is one of only three solo women to make it onto a new list of the top 50 wealthiest pop stars in the British Isles.

The Hello singer is estimated to be worth £85 million, £35 million up from a year ago, putting her in 30th place on the Music Millionaires Top 50 list from The Sunday Times.

She is also ranked at the top of the Young Music Rich List of performers aged 30 and under this year.
