They are known for being one of the most glamorous families in the celebrity world.

And it seems Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope, and her sister Kim's little girl North are following in their mothers' footsteps.

Talking to ITV's This Morning on Monday, Kourtney, 37, revealed that she loves to let her 4-year-old play around with make-up alongside her cousin North, 3 - after admitting she and her own famous sisters are very 'vocal' about each other's looks.

Candid: She also admitted in the interview that she and her famous sisters are very 'vocal' about each other's looks with a heavy interest on beauty in the family

The reality star gushed in the exclusive interview that the youngsters of the Kardashian clan have already found interest in beauty and cosmetics - and often join their mothers on pampering sessions.

The mum-of-three explained: 'Penelope is really into hair and beauty, I think from just seeing me.

'We get our hair done together, but usually we try and do it at our house so I feel she is around a lot.'

Like mother like daughter: The 37-year-old also admitted that the pair 'get our hair done together' in their house

She also revealed that momager Kris, 61, is most excited by their love of beauty, continuing: 'My mum got Penelope and North these little vanities for Christmas filled with makeup.

'I try to get them as many natural makeup products as possible... but I love to let them experiment and play and just have fun with it.'

Penelope and North, who is the daughter of sister Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West, have become the best of friends after being born just one year apart.

And Kourtney admitted this relationship mirrors that of her and her sisters Kim and Khloe - who are not only extremely close, but also used to play with Kris' make-up as kids, which is where the family's trademark glamour stems from.

She explained: 'My mum is the one who really started it all with all of us, because she’s so into beauty. We would watch her as a little girl that’s how you learn.'

Sharing the family's staple tips, she added: 'She would always tell us flight attendants were told to use a hot washcloth to scrub your face, so we all do that.'

Doting mama: She added that she tries to get them to use as many 'natural makeup products as possible' but wants them to learn and 'have fun with it'

When Kim Kardashian tweeted recently saying that baby North had been sent three Balmain jackets from Olivier Rousteing, we couldn't believe it.

Still just as in to cosmetics and fashion today, Kourtney also admitted that she and her younger siblings are very honest with each other about their outfits or current appearance.

She confessed: 'We do regularly talk about beauty tips and the different things we are int … we are also critical of each other too. If we like something or don’t like something we are definitely very vocal!'

It is not just the stunning sisters that share opinions and tips regarding their beauty routines however - with brother Rob Kardashian, 29, getting involved too.

Kourtney continued: 'We are always on a constant group text with my whole family and my brother was sending photos this morning of my mum and Khloe from last night and he was like ‘You guys look so great.''

'I think we try to be complimentary ...but I think whatever we are into we will exchange tips back and forth.'

The trio have released plenty of beauty and clothing products between them over the years - first founding their clothing boutique Dash in 2006.

Back in the day: Kourtney revealed that she, alongside sis Kim (L) would play with their mother Kris' make-up and 'watch her as little girls' because 'that’s how you learn'

Expanding the brand to four different locations across the US, the sisters then brought the range to the UK by creating an exclusive line for retailer Dorothy Perkins.

Since then they have embarked on several other beauty projects - releasing their own fake tan, a make-up range entited Khroma Beauty and a selection of fragrances between them.

Talking about how their looks and styles have drastically changed over the years, Kourtney said of herself: 'I’ve gone through a lot of phases with makeup and I’ve definitely evolved over the years.

'When I look back I hate when I had really heavy eyes and a dark lip. I love doing a red lip and really not much on the eyes at all - I just love an effortless simplistic make-up look.'

Scoring a regular feature on the show, Kourtney will discuss how her healthy diet and lifestyle aid her beauty from within on next Monday's show.

Kourtney welcomed little girl Penelope Scotland with Scott Disick in July 2012, before North arrived in June of the following year.

The doting mothers alongside sister and best friend Khloe, 32, often take to Instagram to post adorable photos of the girls playing and laughing together.

Kourtney is also mother to two boys Mason, 6, and Reign, 22 months, while Kim gave birth to son Saint late last year.
