Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves could not keep their eyes off each other as they attended the annual Hollywood Film Awards.

The couple made for a striking pair as they made their way down the red carpet in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday night.

Date night: Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves could not keep their eyes off each other as they attended the annual Hollywood Film Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday

Matthew was there to receive the Hollywood Ensemble Award for his film Gold, so the strapping Texan dressed to impress.

The 47-year-old star decided to skip the standard classic black suit in favour of something that popped just that little but more.

For the event, Matthew donned a light blue suit with a white shirt and skinny navy tie.

Obviously really feeling the shade, the Dallas Buyers Club star wore the suit with a pair of blue lace-up leather shoes.

While they could not have looked more loved up as they posed on the carpet, clearly the actor did not tell his wife he was wearing blue as she wore black.

For the event, the 34-year-old model wore a black dress featuring embroidered flowers on the short sleeve top.

The dress was cinched in at the star's waist with a vintage-style belt and had a sexy thigh high split.

The mother of three - Levi, 8, Vita, 6, and Livingston, 3 -  made sure to show off her gorgeous gams as photographers snapped away.

Camila wore her hair curled to one side with a tiny braid keeping her hair close to her head on the other side.

She finished off the look with a tiny black clutch and peep toe strappy black heels.
