So it wasn't surprising that Karrueche Tran came out support her pal Zendaya on Saturday as she launched her LA pop-up store for her new collection, Daya by Zendaya.

The actress, 28, couldn't resist showing off her petite, toned frame in a plunging crushed velvet dress and extreme cut-out hoodie.

Strutting around the event in a pair of sexy, tan-coloured knee high boots, the ex of rapper Chris Brown, held on to a stylish clutch with her perfectly manicured nails.

The Bay The Series star scraped her raven tresses into a sensational top knot which showed off her striking features as she came out to view the clothing spectacle.

Karrueche Tran was spotted at pal Zendaya’s pop up event in LA looking her usual stylish self, wearing a statement orange velvet slip dress teamed with a matching clutch, a grey cut out hoodie and beige knee high suede boots.

In one look for the main event, she decided on a simple outfit consisting of a black dress, which was unzipped just enough to show off her black bra.

A pair of lace-up, black heels, which looked to be the Kettle Lace Up Bootie from her collection, finished off the minimalist look.

In a statement released about Zendaya's collection, the star shared: 'Daya by Zendaya is a true reflection of me and my crazy life. One moment I’m Michael Kors’ date to the Met Gala…the next moment I’m in joggers, grocery shopping and arguing with my niece about what quinoa is… you’ll see it all.'

The pieces, which are also for sale on the collection's website, range from $18 to $158 and come in sizes 0 to 22.

Zendaya had gushed about the details on Instagram ahead of the release, sharing: 'Daya by Zendaya the clothing line is coming...all under $160, sizes ranging from 0-22 for all my beutiful bodies out there...'
