Anne Hathaway made Temple University student Ewan Johnson's (pictured) birthday dreams come true when she sang him 'Happy Birthday' while stumping for Hillary Clinton on the school's campus

It's likely that Wednesday was the best birthday Ewan Johnson has ever had.

Johnson, who attends Temple University, was at the student center where Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway was stumping for Hillary Clinton.

It was while he was there that Hathaway learned it was Johnson's special day and led the crowd in singing him 'Happy Birthday'.

Two videos were taken of the magic moment: one by a student watching the events unfolding and another taken by Johnson himself.

The video begins with Hathaway, wearing a 'proud to support Madam President' shirt, already mid-song as the crowd sings with her.

Johnson appears overcome with emotion as he is seen filming a selfie video.

On the second 'happy birthday to you', Hathaway wraps her arms around Johnson's waist and gives him a tight squeeze while resting her head on his shoulder so they are cheek-to-cheek.
