Once better known as Scary Spice, Mel B does not shy from eccentric outfits and accessories.

And the X Factor Australia judge wasn't shying away from another eye-popping display during Sunday night's live show, wearing a unique sequin-covered dress.

The 41-year-old singer's frock had eyes designed over the bralet, which drew attention to her ample assets as she sat behind the judge's panel.

Mel B looked sensational on X Factor Australia, wearing a statement sequin dress teamed with pink pointed metallic heels.

The intricate 'evil eye' garment from Discount Universe is currently not in stock, but their similar bralet pencil dresses retail for $295 or more.

While it was hard to avoid eye contact with the bizarre look, nothing was said about the quirky ensemble until Mel pointed out styling flaws in one of Adam Lambert's acts.

Isaiah, 16, had his unique miss-matched leopard and zebra print attire critiqued at the end of his performance of Happy by Pharrell Williams, with Mel B saying: 'The styling, it is a mess. It is like somebody threw up all over you, literally.

Not seeing eye-to-eye with his co-star, Adam chose to hit back by throwing shade on her outfit choice.

Standing up for her out-there style, Mel claimed: 'But I'm a spice girl, and that's what Spice Girls do'.

While Iggy Azalea agreed with Adam, Guy appeared to side with Mel, describing the teenager's look like 'a children's act'.

However, Guy didn't weigh in on Mel's outfit, possibly on a more personal note - with his wife Jules Sebastian hired as the Brit's stylist.

However, it's not only the Spice Girl who has worn the 'evil eye' before.

Many fans heaped praise on the unique design, with comments including:'Looking absolutely gorgeous in that. what a queen.'
