This horrifying footage shows the chilling moment a rapist told nightclub staff 'I'll take care of her, I'm a friend' before leading a woman away and attacking her.

Rafael Tiso, a Brazilian rickshaw driver, has been jailed for 13 years for the sickening attack on January 18.

He was caught on CCTV leaving Dicey's nightclub in Dublin with the victim and taking her down a side street before going into a lane with her.

After leaving the intoxicated woman lying in a pool of blood, he brazenly returned to the nightclub where he stayed for another hour and a half.

The CCTV footage shows Tiso grabbing his coat and then leading the vulnerable victim out of the venue.

She had taken an ecstasy pill and was under the influence of alcohol.

He assured bouncers he would 'take care of her' but then subjected her to an appalling 40 minute attack.

She was left with shocking internal injuries, lying unconscious in a pool of blood with her legs spread open.

She was saved by two Good Samaritans who spotted her on the floor between two cars, with blood dripping from her head.

She is now unable to give birth naturally and wears a colostomy bag, the Sun reported.

After the horrendous attack, Tiso went back to the nightclub and groped six other women before he was removed by security.

Since being jailed he has been attacked twice by other prisoners, the newspaper said.

Justice Isobel Kennedy suspended the final year of a 14-year sentence on the condition he leave the country on his release for a period of 10 years.

She told Dublin's Central Criminal Court: 'The victim was discarded in a shocking condition and has suffered appalling damage. Her injuries are very physical but also emotional.'

In her moving victim impact statement to the court, the woman said she faces a 'daily fight' with herself and described it as 'like an episode of a horror series'.

She said: 'I feel paranoid and sometimes I fear this will affect my mental health and I will lose control of my mind.

'It's a daily fight against myself, between going forward or making a martyr of myself. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a nightmare that I am unable to wake up from.

'I would like to delete that day of my life and never have to remember that night I was the vulnerable girl, the girl that I read stuff about in the newspaper many times or that I watch on the television.

'I never imagined that one day this could be me.

'I don't have the same desires for life that I had before. I feel like I don't make any sense.

'On January 18, 2016, something terrible happened to me. It looks like an episode of a horror series. The girl that just went out to have some fun nearly died.

'For now, I prefer to keep my feelings inside myself, but it's like a bomb that can explode at any time even though I still prefer to live day by day.'
