Having a ball! Emilia Clarke poses for a fun selfie with Game Of Thrones co-stars Peter Dinklage and Conleth Hill as they head to a football match during rare break from filming

They've been hard at work filming season seven of Game Of Thrones on location in Spain for the last few weeks.

But the cast of the hugely-popular HBO fantasy series enjoyed a well-earned break as they spent the afternoon in a VIP box at the Sevilla vs Barcelona football match at Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium in Seville, Spain, on Sunday.

Looking as though they were enjoying some time off from dragon taming and plundering, Emilia Clarke posed for a fun selfie with Peter Dinklage and Conleth Hill as they cheered on the players.

A well-earned break: The cast of the hugely-popular HBO fantasy series enjoyed a well-earned break at Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium in Seville, Spain, on Sunday

The actors were given a warm welcome to the box, which was decorated with 'Welcome Home Game Of Thrones' signs, just for them.

They were bestowed with personalised replica shirts and Sevilla scarves, which they excitably waved in the air as the cheered on the home team.

Emilia, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the fantasy series, took to Instagram to document the occasion, posting a selfie with Peter Dinklage, who stars as Tyrion Lannister, and Conleth Hill, who portrays Varys.

She excitably captioned the photo: 'Seville vs Barcelona?! WHAT A MATCH! Espana what a welcome you've given us all... get a load of these grins and get a load of that match!'

The game was monumental indeed, as it saw Argentinian football star Lionel Messi score his 500th goal - helping Barcelona take the match with a final score of 2-1.

Peter was snapped watching the game intently from the box, clearly enthralled with the excitement unfolding on the pitch.

He was also sure to document the evening out, taking his own selfies of the occasion.

Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Alfie Allen, Gregor Clegane and Iain Glen were also in attendance, representing the Houses of Stark, Targaryan, Greyjoy, Barathian and Lannister all together - a recipe for disaster had they been in character.

In the summer, HBO confirmed that filming for the seventh season of the Emmy Award-winning series would take place in various areas of Spain, such as Seville, Cáceres and Almodóvar del Río.

Last month, scenes were shot on Itzurun Beach, Zumaia and Bermeo, due to the 'uniqueness' of the landscapes.

A 400-strong technical team was reportedly on site for the scenes at these locations.

The production is thought to move to Cáceres city and Malpartida next, after which the crew will move on to the castle at Almodóvar del Río - a historic structure that slots perfectly into Game Of Throne' fictional world of Westeros.
