And Nina Dobrev induced fashion envy once again as she stormed the red carpet at the MTV EMAs in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on Sunday night.

The 27-year-old Vampire Diaries actress oozed timeless elegance in a shimmering pale purple Elie Saab gown.

The Canadian-Bulgarian actress stunned in the column gown, which was dripping in intricate beading.

A slim lilac belt cinched in her tiny waist, while the high neckline kept the look demure. 

Nina wore her long raven tresses in a sleek straight style that cascaded down her back, and accessorised with long drop earrings.

She highlighted her dark eyes with a moody navy eyeshadow and lashings of mascara, and rocked a taupe lipstick.

Nina Dobrev looked lovely in lilac at the MTV Europe Music Awards, wearing a stunning gown by Elie Saab. We love the pretty pastel shade, plus the intricate embellishment.

Styled for the occasion by Ilaria Urbinati, the star wore her lilac dress with Soedebar shoes and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Alongside her television roles, the star is part of the action movie, XXX: Return of Xander Cage which will be released in January 2017.

Best known for her role of Elena Gilbert on the CW series, The Vampire Diaries, Nina is also set to grace one episode of the sitcom, Workaholics.

Up for multiple wins are Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd who are listed in three categories each.
