Basic parenting instincts! Sharon Stone, 58, runs errands in Los Angeles with 10-year-old son Quinn

Sharon Stone's still got it.

The Basic Instinct star, 58, looked every bit the Hollywood star on Monday as she ran errands with her 10-year-old son Quinn at the Los Angeles federal building.

The Casino beauty wore a colorful skirt centered around a floral pattern, with pink flats. She wore blue shades and had a short blonde coif with a grey bag dangling from her arm, and gripped a manila envelope. She sported a blemish on her right leg.

The Total Recall actress, who was there to reportedly renew the child's passport, also has sons named Roan, 16, and Laird, 11.

The Oscar-nominated actress has been busy as of late, as she has eight films due out next year, all in various stages of production.

One of the high-profile projects is a comedy called A Little Something for Your Birthday, which casts her opposite Scandal star Tony Goldwyn and Oscar-winner Ellen Burstyn.

In the Susan Walter-directed film, Stone plays Senna Berges, a woman henpecked by her mother, when a hunky new suitor comes on the scene. Rounding out the cast of the coming-of-age motion picture include Caitlin Fitzgerald, Famke Janssen, and in a cameo, controversial Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.

Stone - who appeared in this year's Mothers and Daughters alongside Susan Sarandon and Christina Ricci - also has a starring role in next year's romantic drama What About Love, apposite leading man Andy Garcia. The motion picture is due out next May.

Stone quickly ascended to the A-list in 1992 with her chilling portrayal of ice pick-wielding beauty Catherine Tramell, opposite Michael Douglas, in the murder mystery Basic Instinct.
