Payne relief! 'Pregnant' Cheryl proceeds with changing her surname from Fernandez-Versini... as she hints at return to pop music

She was officially granted a divorce from second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini last month.

And it seems Cheryl is moving on from her failed second marriage after finding love again with One Direction's Liam Payne - as she proceeds with changing her surname.

A representative of Cheryl's confirmed to MailOnline: 'It is in the process of being changed' - although it is not know what name the singer, 33, will go by in the future.

Last night Cheryl was on The One show to help mark Childline's 30th anniversary.

The star has not been out and about much of late which always leaves us disappointed at Fashion Finder as we love seeing her outfits!

She rocked a sleeveless dress for the show that boasted two oversized buttons and a slight frill at the waist. If Cheryl is expecting, it's a great flattering dress to help hide her bump!

The confirmation comes after reports in The Sun stated she is still listed as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on accounts for her performing arts firm CC Couture Limited and on Girls Aloud tour books.

The paper further revealed that records were filed under the name as recently as September, although she split from the French businessman back in January.

Cheryl has been using the surname ever since their separation, when documents obtained at the time showed a request that paperwork concerning her company CC Couture Ltd, are kept in the name.

A source told the newspaper after their release: 'Cheryl has had to reinvent herself several times but her three past names all have very different memories.

'Tweedy is associated with her assault court case, Cole with Ashley's cheating and now her new name with another failed marriage.'

Her divorce from Jean-Bernard, 36, was finalised in October when the couple were granted a decree nisi in just 14 seconds at London's Central Family Court.

Taking to her Twitter, the popstar addressed a fan who expressed their worry that she will never make music again with a coy hint.

The budding follower wrote: 'I'm actually really nervous that we won't ever get Cheryl music again,' to which the brunette cheekily replied: 'Don't be.'

The former X Factor judge has not released any music since 2014, when her last album Only Human peaked at number seven in the UK Album Chart.
