She recently enjoyed a relaxing holiday in the Maldives with her son Damien.

And Elizabeth Hurley seems to be missing the sunshine already after returning to cold Autumn weather of the UK last week.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday, the 51-year-old uploaded a throwback bikini snap for her 431,000 followers - showing off both her enviably slim figure and flawless complexion for all to see.

Draping herself across a sunbed, the British beauty looked completely relaxed as she soaked up the glorious sunshine beside the clear turquoise sea. 

Liz looked far younger than her 51 years in the snap as she left her face bare to flaunt her enviable smooth and glowing complexion - which she covered only with a glamorous pair of oversized sunglasses.

The British beauty then showed off her long and slender figure as she lay front on to the camera clad in a skimpy green bikini, and even flashed a saucy hint of her cleavage against the sunbed.

However the star has been a fixture on London's glamorous social circuit since returning to the UK.

Earlier this week she put in an appearance at the London Poppy Day Dinner hosted by the City Veterans' Network at the the Hurlingham Club in London.

The Royals star looked undeniably stunning as she made her way to the event, wearing a sleeveless golden gown, complete with glittering embellishments.

The mother-of-one looked chic in the fuchsia dress which featured a handkerchief hem and a semi-sheer high neckline.

Sticking to a pink theme, she toted a heavily embellished pink clutch with a heart motif on it.
