Serious scare: In March, Todd suffered a near-fatal snowmobile accident that left him with 14 fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and other injuries

Sailor is wearing only a diaper and being held by Todd, who has his hands firmly around her waist to keep her from falling.

Todd is a four-time champion of the Iron Dog snowmobile race, which features a grueling course consisting of more than 2,000 miles of Arctic terrain and conditions.

Friends and fans of the family left messages of encouragement in the comments section of Bristol's post, with Karin Podolski noting that 'Todd is looking great'.

10-months going on 16! Bristol Palin took to Instagram a few weeks ago to share a photo of her daughter standing in the driver's seat of a car

Throwback: She also posted a snapshot of her and her husband Dakota Meyer, 28, on vacation in Hawaii

'I hope your dad is feeling so much better and has a better race this year,' another person wrote, while Betty Minton noted that it looks like Todd is 'doing much better'.

Although the father-of-five has been participating in the Iron Dog competition since the early nineties, Todd suffered 14 fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and other injuries after a snowmobile accident last March.

However, it seems like Todd is already looking forward to competing in the 2017 Iron Dog race in February.

And while Sailor isn't even one year old yet, Bristol's daughter with her husband Dakota Meyer may have inherited her grandfather's love of racing.

Celebration: Bristol shared a photo of her kids Tripp and Sailor Grace with a newborn, who is thought to be the son of her brother Track's girlfriend Jordan Loewe in October

'Walking is close': Dakota also took to Instagram last month to share a photo of Sailor trying to stand up on her own

All together: Bristol recently posted a family photo that saw her and her husband psoing

Less than two weeks ago Bristol shared an equally heartwarming photo of her smiling little girl posing with her hands on the steering wheel of a car.

'Happiest 10-month-old,' Bristol captioned the image, which sees Sailor standing on Todd's lap in the driver's seat of the vehicle.

Sailor, who turns one in December, happily flashed her two bottom teeth as she smiled for the camera, leaving her hand firmly on the steering wheel.

The little girl was ready for winter in an olive green anorak jacket featuring a a fur hood, skinny jeans, and a sunny yellow headband featuring a tiny bow.
