'The idea is preposterous': Danny Baker rules out I'm A Celeb stint as he claims show bosses wouldn't let him take a box of wine as his 'luxury item'
He was one of the hotly-tipped stars to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! when it returns on Sunday.
But Danny Baker, 59, has claimed that he'll no longer be heading to the Australian outback after producers banned him from bringing alcohol as his luxury item.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, the legendary radio presenter dismissed claims he would be appearing on the ITV show, branding them 'preposterous'.

He wrote: 'Sitting here seeing I am going in the Jungle next week. Chums, the very idea is preposterous. And to people I'm now working with: calm down.'
Referencing the fact Australia is on the other side of the road he then shared an upside-down snap of himself enjoying a glass of wine which he captioned: 'Ok, you got me. Here I am in Australia. #JungleBoy.'
He continued: 'To be fair, I did have talks with #IACGMOOH this year but when I said my luxury item had to be a case of white wine the f***ers backed out.'
