Katie Holmes looked casual chic as she was spotted walking around Los Angeles on Monday.

The 37-year-old actress was without her daughter Suri Cruise, 10, as she enjoyed the beautiful weather in grey high-neck sweater and denim jeans.

She added a pair of stylish black boots to her laid back ensemble.

The pretty brunette wore her long hair down and natural as she accessorized with a pair of designer sunglasses.

Katie opted to wear no make-up for her day out as she showed off her natural beauty and glowing complexion.

The former wife of Tom Cruise looked pensive as she was seen walking around solo.

The actress looked like she needed some alone time as just this week her secret three-year romance with Jamie Foxx came to an end.

However, the actress has been keeping herself busy as just recently she had an intense period of filming for The Kennedys Part 2.

She plays Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis on the cable TV series, as well as serving as producer for the hit show.

She is also gearing up for the release of her feature film directorial debut All We Had that opens in U.S. theatres this Christmas on December 9.

She stars in as well as directs the coming-of-age drama based on a best-selling novel.

'I really like having creative control over projects,' she said recently. 'You put so much into it and it's a lot of work but I can't wait to do it again and again.'

'I definitely have a greater appreciation for all of the work and all of the directors that I have worked with have done.'
