EXCLUSIVE: 'Goodbye to a gross stomach': Heather McDonald attempts to zap tummy fat away with new cosmetic procedure

While she has no plans to get a Kardashian-sized booty anytime soon, this star is all too happy to indulge in the reality clan's fat freezing not-so-secret secret.

Heather McDonald invited the DailyMail.com to join her as she iced out her trouble tummy area.

The 46-year-old star revealed her initial results on Tuesday after undergoing CoolSculpting in Beverly Hills, California.

Freeze that fat: Heather McDonald has undergone CoolScultping at IGlow Med Spa in Beverly Hills to target her trouble tummy areas

While many celebrities have been opting from the non-invasive cosmetic procedure not a lot have admitted to it - let alone filmed themselves getting the treatment done.

But there was no shame in this funny lady's game, with the comedian happily being filmed during the FDA approved procedure.

Speaking exclusively to the DailyMail.com, Heather revealed she turned to iGlow Med Spa in Beverly Hills as she has struggled for years with her tummy.

The mom of two explained: 'I'm tall with thin legs but have always had a fat tummy and as I aged my love handles became more troublesome.

Seeing a change: While it takes three months for the full results to appear, three weeks since getting her first treatment the 46-year-old is staring to see results, she revealed on Tuesday

'I've always had a fat tummy': Speaking exclusively to the DailyMail.com, Heather revealed she turned to iGlow Med Spa in Beverly Hills as she has struggled for years with her tummy (left -before treatment, right - after)

Candid: There was no shame in this funny lady's game, with the comedian happily being filmed during the procedure, 'Say goodbye to a gross squirty stomach. You're going to see my stomach looking fierce in a couple of months' (left - before, right - after)

Chill out: CoolScultping works via a process called Cryolipolysis where the fat cells are frozen causing them to break down

'I have never had invasive plastic surgery and was afraid of liposuction. CoolSculpting targets the area and there is no cutting or down time I didn't even need a pain pill.'

Smiling away as the CoolSculpting machine was applied to her tummy, the star said: 'Say goodbye to a gross squirty stomach.  You're going to see my stomach looking fierce in a couple of months.'

It is not all pain-free however, but it certainly a long way from being under the plastic surgeon's knife.

Here we go: The funny lady went to Nurse Nataly at iGlow Med Spa to have two areas of her stomach treated separately (seen here on her first of two session on her lower abs)

Not shy: While many celebrities have been opting from the non-invasive cosmetic procedure not a lot have admitted to it - let alone filmed themselves getting the treatment done

'They put a cold wet sheet on the area and the grab and squeeze the fat pocket in the machine. The pinching hurts for a second and then you lie there for an hour and you're done.

'It does hurt a little bit 'cos she just pinched by fat but now I'm just chilling out while I get my fat frozen.'

The star first had her love handles treated and three weeks ago had her first stomach treatment having both the lower and upper abdominal areas treated separately.

Just a little pinch: It is not all pain-free however, 'the pinching hurts for a second' the star says but it certainly a long way from being under the plastic surgeon's knife

Hold still: The machine is placed on the area for an hour and costs around $600 per area

While some people have just a single treatment, iGlow's Nurse Nataly - as she likes to be called - had Heather do two.

While the final results will not be visible until the three month period, the comedian said she is noticing a difference.

'I was a little worried about having some adverse effect but I got my love handles done five weeks ago and I'm noticing a difference and you are not done with the final result until 3 months after the treatment. So far so great!'

Long lasting: Nurse Nataly insists only fat cells are target and then the body gets rid of the broken cells like it does with other wastes. Heather will lost up to 25 per cent of fat in each treated area - and the results are permanent

Round one: While always slender, the star has not love how her midsection looked so had her love handles treated too (pictured right in 2014 and left after first love handles treatment)

Nurse Nataly told the DailyMail.com: 'Heather will lose 20-25 percent of fat in each area treated.'

Red carpet ready: Nurse Nataly has done the treatment on many celebrities and models and says the lead up to Hollywood's award season is her busiest time

And Heather is not the only one to undergo the treatment, with the Kardashians indulging as well as reportedly Jennifer Aniston and Megan Fox also turning to the fat freezing method 0 but Nurse Nataly was not naming names

'I have many celebrities and top models that have had CoolSculpting done!

'There is no down time – you’re in, you’re out, and you’re done. You can go back to your routine. It’s that simple. We are getting booked up during the holidays as award season in LA is right around the corner and everyone needs to look great on the red carpet.'

Costing about $600 per area, Nurse Nataly said the treatment is permanent.

'It basically lasts forever as long as you keep and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The results are long term, as treated fat cells are gone for good. It’s an incredible treatment to get you into shape and an amazing way to kick start your fitness routine at the same time. '

While happy to just have non-invasive treatments now, Heather is not, however, ruling out getting other parts of her nipped and tucked down the line.

'I think cosmetic procedures like CoolSculpting and injectables are great inventions and when used moderately and at the appropriate age and wonderful.

'[But] I think God created plastic surgeons for a reason and that reason is to make people feel better when they look in the mirror and enjoy their time on earth looking as cute as possible.'

'I draw the line at butt impants': Heather is open to getting a neck lift, however, while she may use CoolScultpting like the Kardashians she has no plans to get a matching derriere

The 46-year-old said being in the public eye does put some pressure on her to look young 'but even if I wasn't in Hollywood I would want to stay looking my best for as long as possible.'

'I draw the line at butt implants - no thank you!'

Keeping up: Kris Jenner as well as some of her famous daughters have turned to the fat freezing treatment
