She's with her! Lauren Bush Lauren heads to the New York City polls to vote for Hillary Clinton straight after getting off a red-eye flight from San Francisco

  • The 32-year-old granddaughter of former Republican President George H. W. Bush shared videos and photos of herself voting on Tuesday 
  • Lauren, who used the hashtag #ImWithHer throughout her post, endorsed Hillary Clinton on Instagram last month 
  • Earlier this year, her grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, said she didn't know how a woman could vote for Donald Trump 

Lauren Bush Lauren may come from a long line of Republicans, but that didn't stop the mother-of-one from voting for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old, who is the granddaughter of former President George H. W. Bush and the niece of former President George W. Bush, took to Instagram Stories on election day to share photos and videos of herself on voting day. 

Lauren revealed that she headed to her local polling center right after after her plane from San Francisco landed, proudly using the pro-Hillary hashtag #I'mWithHer in her posts.

Urgent business: The 32-year-old Feed founder headed to her New York polling center as soon as her flight from San Francisco landed 

The FEED founder spent Monday in San Francisco on business, sharing videos of herself eating by the water and shopping at the Ferry Building Marketplace. 

Lauren, who is married to designer Ralph Lauren's son David, enjoyed a 'Pre-Red Eye Marg' ahead of her flight, and the next day she was at the voting booth by 7am. 

'Right off the [plane] and voting time!' she captioned a video of herself walking through her polling location. 

'Let's do this! #ImWithHer,' she wrote on a photo of a voting sign, and Lauren ended her post by sharing a photo of herself holding her 'I Voted' sticker.

'An I Voted selfie — Proud to be an American and do my civic duty today!' she captioned the photo. 

Lauren publicly endorsed Hillary on her Facebook page last month by sharing a black and white photo of the Democratic nominee, simply writing: #ImWithHer. 

Although her grandmother Barbara Bush hasn't stated who she was voting for, the former First Lady condemned Donald Trump during an interview on CBS This Morning in February.

'He’s like a comedian or a showman or something,' she said. 'I don’t know how women can vote for someone who said what he said about Megyn Kelly. It’s terrible. And we knew what he meant, too.'

Barbara was referring Donald stating that Megyn had 'blood coming out of her wherever' after her tough line of questioning during the GOP debate. 

Meanwhile, Lauren's cousin Barbara Bush, George W. Bush's daughter, attended a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton that was hosted by Huma Abedin and Anna Wintour last month. 

And while it appears more than a few members of the Bush family are against Donald Trump, the former presidents have abstained from commenting on the election.
