Brrreathtaking! Glam Gemma Arterton braves the chill in plunging strapless gown as she steps out at 100 Streets premiere

It may have been an extremely chilly night in London, but Gemma Arterton was still determined to look as glamorous as possible. 

The 30-year-old actress flashed the flesh in a stunning strapless gown which showed off her curves to maximum effect.

The frock consisted of lace black overlay and white floral designs under the bust and along the waist while strappy high heels added to the stunning look.

Handy pockets: Gemma at least kept her hands warm against the cold 

The star's hair was teased into a chic updo while she added dangling earrings and a slick of pink lip gloss at the BFI London event.

Her co-star Idris Elba, meanwhile, looked a little more dressed for the colder climate, wrapping up warm in a snug winter coat, black trousers and black shirt. 

The film, directed by Jim O’Hanlon, follows the interconnected stories of several Londoners including an ex rugby star played by Idris and his wife (played by Gemma).

Busy: Gemma has starred in an array of films released this year 

It's been a busy year for the actress who has recently appeared in dystopian drama The Girl With All The Gifts and will soon be seen in British dramedy Their Finest alongside Bill Nighy and Sam Claflin, Jeremy Irons and Richard E Grant.  

Set during World War I, the film follows a group of inspiring filmmakers who try to make a patriotic film that will boost morale of the British army during The Blitz.

Gemma plays lead character Catrin Cole in the film.

She'll also provide the voice of Clover in a forthcoming TV mini series of Watership Down. 

'I think that it’s going to be beautiful,' she told Deadline. 'The script is excellent, and it’s not going to be 2D animation. It’s sort of like a painting, I’ve seen some of the artwork. 

'They are obviously animating it with CGI, but they are still having that sort of hand drawn quality. It’s got a really incredible cast of actors voicing it. From what I’ve seen, it’s going to be fantastic.'

Meanwhile, Gemma joined many of the film's cast on the red carpet including Kierston Wareing who sported a glittering green gown and coordinating earrings. 

Charlie Creed-Miles was in more amorous mood, puckering up to Sachi Loggia before the screening of the film.
