'I have a strong inner camp!' Ed Balls talks embracing the Strictly sequins and dance moves... and is determined to land a place in the final
He achieved his highest score to date on Saturday and sailed through to the next round of Strictly Come Dancing.
And it seems Ed Balls, 49, has fully immersed himself in the sequins and dance moves of the BBC show, as he revealed he had released his 'strong inner camp'.
Speaking to Grazia magazine, he says 'I’ve always known that I had this strong inner camp. I’ve just never quite revealed it in this way.'

The MP added that there was no chance of a romance with his pro partner Katya Jones, 27, as her own father was just a year older than him.
Talking about the 'Strictly curse' which hit current contestant Daisy Lowe, as well as previous celeb dancers Georgia May Foote, Rachel Riley and Ben Cohen, he insists: 'Katya’s father is a year older than me, so there’s no issue there.
'But it is a strikingly physical programme. And the hours are long, we rehearse eight hours a day, and it’s emotional.
'So you can see how it happens to other people.'
Close bond: Ed denied he would ever fall victim to the ‘Strictly curse’, although he did state he understood how people training together in such an intense environment could get caught up
Ed also revealed that unlike previous politicians, such as John Sergeant or Ann Widdecombe, he doesn't want to be seen as the jester of the series.
'The one thing I did decide right at the beginning was that I did not want to be this year’s John Sergeant or Ann Widdecombe,' he admitted.
And if Saturday's impressive quickstep is anything to go by, he may have a longer career on the show than anticipated.
He's no joker: Ed also revealed that unlike previous politicians, such as John Sergeant or Ann Widdecombe, he doesn't want to be seen as the jester of the series
Here for the long haul: He also revealed that he refuses to drop out should he get further in the show as he thinks this is unfair to the people that voted

'People are supporting you and paying to vote. The only way I’ll stay in beyond a certain point is if my dancing is clearly getting better.
'The problem is, there isn’t anybody else this year that’s worse.'
Impressive: Ed and Katya performed a fantastic Quickstep to Help! by The Beatles on Saturday
Progress: Judge Craig confessed: 'I can't believe I'm actually saying this - you are actually improving and that's brilliant to see'
Celebrating: The dance partners whooped and hugged each other with delight after finally hearing some praise
When asked about his plans after the show Ed revealed he is dubious about entering politics again but he would never say never.
'I think politics second time around would feel like a re-tread, and probably disappointing. But never say never.'

In a shock move, Craig confessed: 'I can't believe I'm actually saying this - you are actually improving and that's brilliant to see.'
But as viewers watched Laura Whitmore get sent home after a dance-off against consistent favourite Ore Oduba, fans of the show took to Twitter in droves to express their outrage at the 49-year-old Labour MP's enduring presence.
'Just watched Strictly Come Stomp around and NOT Dance!!!! (sic),' wrote one viewer, who added: the show was 'so fixed its unreal get ed balls out... its beyond a joke now (sic).'
'If @edballs had any balls he'd do the right thing and resign from #Strictly to stop better dancers leaving. #notalentnoshame,' complained another fan of the show.
'For all those people who are saying it's Ed Balls is funny and entertaining on Strictly, I suggest you buy a dictionary. #ballsout.'
'Let's face it... Ed Balls is gonna win #Strictly,' wrote one disgruntled viewer, who added they'd 'lost all faith in the British public'.
